This set of velcro strips is fantastic! I like to use them to keep things in place temporarily until I need them. For example, I purchased these as I kept losing my remotes and decided to velro them to my desk. This way they are easy access and never get lost, and I become more organized. A win win. I was able to cut these down to the size I needed and worked perfectly. I highly recommend.
I used 1 inch of magnetic tape attached to a thin piece of wood approximately 3 by 2 inches. For my grandkids to color and attach to refrigerator
If I had a camera handy, I'd take several pictures! I used the tape to "hang" ... well, stick several photos to my wall, and they are in frames or mounted ... hard to explain. Photos are 5X5 and 5X7, not very big. This tape is so good that you could probably use it to "hang" larger photos in frames! And, the price was good.
I bought this tape to secure my little figurines on my car dash, so i cant say about how well it works with 1 lb objects, but it definitely holds well. The heavier pennywise stays secure, and the small lighter Stitch stays secure even in front of the vent, with the air blowing on high. I would think if you used a couple large strips on either side, it would mount a frame or such to a wall! It is thick
Out of the box, these are SUPER STICKY. I was very pleased…then I used them for things that are light in weight (couple of ounces max) and they all started falling off the wall one by one. It could be the climate - I live outside Houston and it's very humid here. But then shouldn't there be a disclaimer or something that it's not good for humid climates? I'm giving this 3 stars because I imagine these work fantastic in non-humid climates.
I wanted to use this for a project and it was supposed to hold a heavier item. When I realized the item was too heavy I decided to just is it for something else. This wouldn't even stick to my ridge in its own. Absolutely awful and not magnetic at all.
Very disappointed,,,bought to replace magnetic strip on back of a lightweight magnet,,,it would not hold it,,,,also to make and use on other magnets,,,won't now,,,very surprised since it was name brand,,,
This is barely strong enough to hold a screw. I purchased to hang on wall in garage to hold up a few light weight tools. Didn't work, barely held a screw----get a real magnet if that is what you require.
Does not stick. It says on the package it holds up to 15 pounds and it doesn't when hold 5lbs. I do not recommend for picture hanging. It only holds paper. Literally the worst.
So many reviews are for VELCRO and these are NOT Velcro. They're MAGNETIC. But they aren't. I was using these to help keep our shower curtain liner inside our shower. Obviously made sure my poles were facing correctly. Stuck it to curtain, stuck the other side to shower wall. Nothing. There's a thin layer of cheap packing tape between the magnets so that's not causing it. Just nothing. I wasn't after a crazy pull but here I didn't get any pull. They did feel weak when I paired the sides but I thought with all the high reviews, they gotta be good. Nope. People are reviewing the wrong item.
