I used the glue sticks during a teacher Make and Take workshop recently. I didn't know 3M made glue sticks. They were stronger than the other brands. These glue sticks makes paper crafting easy and mess free! I love using these glue stick for making homemade Christmas, Birthday and Thank You cards. It's also acid-free which is great for scrapbooks too! For my crafty friend, I also included these Scotch Brand wrinkle-free glue sticks into her Christmas gift bag. In her gift bag I also included Scotch Brand Multi-Purpose Scissors and assorted Scotch Brand Tapes so that we can craft together and that way she wouldn't have to keep borrowing my supplies (which she did all the time). Now we each have our own! :0)
I had always thought that a glue stick was a glue stick! I have been an avid scrapper for years now and HATE when you go to glue papers down and they wrinkle all up! our Crafters club are making several projects for a craft fair and we are using the wrinkle free glue especially for paper on books, it sticks beautifully but use it quickly, use a bone folder on top of paper for a smooth finish and let it dry for an hour underneath a heavy book you will love the results!
I LOVE this glue. If you go in expecting the old white glue kids use, forget that. This is professional glue, it glues tightly and flat and it is wrinkle free. In collage, your edges disappear. The pieces meld into each other. It is sturdy and it holds tightly when bent. My only wishes are that it would come in a bigger sizes and that you wouldn't lose so much in the bottom holder when you can't roll it up any further. I seriously do find this a great product.
