if I had to recommend any desk top tape dispenser this would be it. It doesn't take up much room and I love how it grips the desk without leaving marks. The tape is also easy to get out and use. Scotch(R) Pop-Up Tape Deskgrip Dispenser is an attractive dispenser with pre-cut size strips of tape. It is convenient, and very tidy. It has thin depth, and I find it is easy to lose under stacks of files. Tends to get buried under other desk utentils in the drawer. The length of tape is appropiate for small jobs. I needed to "pop" more for bigger needs, like securing an envelope's flap. Despite these minor issues, I have continued to purchase & use the Scotch Pop up tape dispenser. So easy for wrapping my packages. The design is AWFUL! I have broken 3 trying to refill. You are fine unless you give it too much pressure and the slot comes all the way off.
