[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from 3M in return for an honest review. My husband showed me how to use it while we were hanging drywall. We used it for the vinyl corner bead. It dried fairly quickly and held very well. My husband was able to spackle the corner bead within the hour. It looks great. My husband was impressed, as was I, with the way the adhesive held. I also tried it (with my husband's supervision) on applying a jigsaw puzzle to plywood and framing it as a nice picture. Again, the end result turned out very well. I would recommend this adhesive spray if you need an adhesive spray.
Quick and easy to use. Used it to glue trunk liner to plywood sheet. It requires a thicker coating to make a good bond. Satisfied with the results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm Super Excited Over 3M's New Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive Spray!! This New 'Treasure Find' Is Definitely A Favorite Of Mine! There's So Many Projects & Repairs That I Can Use The Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive For, Not To Mention How Convenient It Is In Its Delivery Method. Basically, You Just Aim and Spray! Another Bonus....It Dries Quickly & Clear!! I Have A Flower Pot That Had Been Broken Into Several Pieces and When 3M Was Gracious Enough To Send Me Their Product To Sample At Home, I Decided To Put It To The Test!! It Worked Beautifully! It Was Very Easy To Use, It Dried Quickly and It Wiped Clean Very Easily!! I've Got My Favorite Flower Pot Back On Display Thanks To 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive and I'm Ready For My Next Project!!
We wanted to make a flannel board out of a magnetic whiteboard. I used the suggestion of another reviewer to clean the spray nozzle with Goof Off, taped the frame carefully, then sprayed a light, even coat of S77. There were perhaps a dozen bubbles in the 24" x 36" board after spraying but either they leveled out or were flattened during the smoothing on of the flannel. We had to reposition one of the ends and the S77 allowed us enough open time to do that. The fabric went on smoothly and looks perfect. This may not be a project for the faint of heart but Scotch 77 is ideal for one-side-sprayed home laminating we needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this adhesive for bonding insulation as well as foam. Grips, bonds & adheres very well. My favorite way I've used this product was when I adhered my 2 separate makeup organizers together into one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty skeptical about this spray adhesive when 3M sent it to me to try and review. I had a sunflower seed bucket that I wanted to cover with my material for my camper. So I gave it a try. About 20 minutes later I was done and wishing that I had taken more time to measure and cut my material....because this stuff was awesome. It was forgiving enough to let me adjust the material, but then when it dried, the material was set. Edges all glued too. So 20 minutes for this--see photo! Will be doing more fancying up of containers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a Sunday School teacher and I'm always looking for ways to create crafts for my 4th grade students. I used 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive to adhere the foam hand prints to the construction paper and it was so easy! Most crafts we make in class use goopy glue that has to dry overnight. But the 3M adhesive was quick and clean. The spray adhesive had to be used out of doors, of course, so the students were able to create and bring home their craft on the same day.
This was shipped in a big bag when it arrived the lid to can was all broken and the can had sticky stuff all over it. Now I have to return it and get another one, the whole point of ordering online was so I didn’t have to go to the store. Yea now I’m going
I just applied to wall to restick peel n stick vinal wallpaper, it looks like it has melted the covering in areas.
I have been a fan and user of 3M products for the past 60 years.I have trusted their products until recently. I used one can of super 77 that I had in my shop and it worked and stuck all the foam squares to the ceiling of my VO studio The Batch number on the can was 7213CW/A12357/0138. When it ran out I bought another can. It's batch number is A93379329E/0343. Spraying the foam squares in the same manner I have had every one of the squares detach and fall. My faith in 3M products has dissolved because of this situation.
