I was really disappointed to have a favorite vintage item break over the holidays. While it was a clean break, it was still a heavy piece and I was skeptical the pitcher could be fixed. After applying Scotch Super Glue, I held the two halves together for about 2 - 3 minutes and left to dry on its side. The glue worked wonderfully! 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I have used super glue before and liked the way it has preformed but the gel with the precision applicator is now my favorite. I did not know that superglue could be used on leather until I received this sample. I used it to fix a tear in my leather truck seats. It worked like a charm. I will be using this glue for a whole lot more than fixing trophies or gluing my child's toys back together! I would recommend this product to anyone. I recently tried the Scotch Super Glue Gel and was extremely pleased in it's performance! I work on delicate egg crafts and make repairs to many other items around the house. This special glue gel from Scotch mades it SO easy to allow more precise and controlled applications. This glue stays in place and drys quicker too. In the past, I wasted so many other glue products because the cap would stick to the container or clog up after only one use, and I had to toss it out. Not anymore! I recently received Scotch® Super Glue Gel in Precision Applicator for free from 3M to review and I am very happy with the results! My daughter was about to go outside and play when she realized that her shoe was broken, The strap had come loose. I grabbed my new bottle of Super glue and went to fixing the shoe. It didn't take long before my daughter could put on her shoe with no problem. The elastic strap stayed in place when she stretched it on her foot. Her and her sister were able to play outside without any breaking of shoes! I liked the new applicator for the scotch super glue. It was easy to use ,no getting super glue on your fingers. The way the bottle is made it is hard to tell when you are low or out of glue. While using the glue. I thought I had run out because nothing would come out and there is no way to see how much glue is in the bottle. Then I would try it again and out came the glue. There should be a way to tell how much glue is left. The glue did a great job on wood and vinyl flooring that I used it for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

There are both things I liked and things I did not like. First off, puncturing the top was a lot harder than it should have been, It took me 3 tries to get it open. Second, the middle where you squeeze is different and when full works great, but when it gets down to the bottom, I about broke my fingers trying to get the last of it out, I used this on a project of flowers I made for one of my Christmas trees. They I needed to glue the foam petals down because they were the base. The glue was great because it was a gel consistency and I could manage where I wanted it. But as it ran low, I think the "gel" consistency worked against me in trying to get the last of it out. Which brings me to when you finish the bottle there is no way to tell except for the aching fingers of trying to squeeze the bottle. Needless to say, I only got 2 flowers done with this bottle and finished the other 5 flowers with a good old glue stick, Which ended up working better anyway. So it was good while it lasted, but didn't last very long. I bought this glue for repairs to a vase and not only did it not stick and keep the pieces together but was hard to dispense. The initial squeeze was good but the glue wouldn't continue after that. Very frustrating and inconvenient.
