Surprised how small tablet is but it worked as well as other products. It did work as well on machine doorway rubber seals as expected %26 advertised. Will give product more than one opportunity to do as advertised. The fragrant after cleaning is a lot more refreshing than other products.
Works great to prevent dirt and spills (white carpet - eek). Strong smell when you first apply it but I think that's not unexpected. We let it dry and air out before putting down the rug.
The spray goes on well, allowing for a light coat. You can then go over it with a second coat after first one dries. The scent does not linger
love the product and the carprt we put it on came from Walmart also and it was 6x9 and we could protect it entirely 2 times dried fast we did one application and yhen 3weeks later the second application both the carpet and protectionare great
Have always used this ever since I was a child, my Dad Scotchgarded my sneakers, boots, our coats, dress clothes, %26 furniture. Needless to say I continued using Scotchgard to waterproof my family's footwear %26 coats, and prevent stains on our rugs, %26 furniture. If you want your things to last it's worth the money to protect them.
Used this on my new carpet. I love scotchguard products. Prolongs the life of many things I also like to use it on my furniture and throw pillows
Great product Bigger container than I thought Easy fast shipping Works Great
If you spill something on your carpet is kept it on top of the carpet just lay a towel rag on it and I'll soak right up. It doesn't go in the carpet. It's really pretty get great and it saves your carpet.
I bought two 17 oz cans for a basic living room rug because...dogs. 4 large, gross one's to be exact. The amount of dirt and mud they track in, is unreal. 1 can is laughable for the rug. 2 was also. I ended up digging out a super old can to fill the areas. Dont count on the foam to help you determine where you've been. The spray effect dwindles after the first 15-30 seconds. Even switching cans that was varely enough foam coverage to get my EXPOSED perimeter before it dwindled to a very narrow spray path. I even let the cans rest a moment which seemed to help...but not enough. The confidence I have that I got all the area of the rug is questionable as is of the necessary chemicals were distributed properly..I guess time will tell. Quickly in this house. Buy 2x as many than you think you need and be prepared to question if this product is protecting what it's intended to. For the price....I guess it's worth it but I hate questioning if a product is doing what is should. Especially a previously reputable one. The rug isn't huge, 4x6 maybe and I didn't even bother with the area under the furniture on one end. Technically one can should have been sufficient and wasn't even close. I emptied all 3 and I'm still unsure and skeptical...not great product confidence which leads to brand unconfidence.
Have not used this, and will return it. Takes 2-6 hours to dry, making breathing in your house impossible. Then continues to off-gas.
