I looked at 20 or more speakers and bought them and brought them home. It didnt matter what I spent the all sounded "tin"y and cheap and if you tried to play it loud it distorted the sound. NOT with this speaker. It has GREAT sound...even bass and sounds like stereo sound. You can crank the volume and it doesnt distort at all.
I highly recommend this little speaker. It was worth every penny. I am so glad I bought it. I absolutely love it.
These speakers are absolutely amazing!! I recently purchased a car and it's missing a radio so i was looking for a portable speaker so i could play my ipod. Well the first speakers I bought were these medium sized cheapo speakers that were barely louder than if I played my ipod nano by itself!!! These speakers on the otherhand are better than my friends sound system!! They really sound full and they don't distort. I would buy them at toysrus tho cause they have them for 10 dollars less plus 15% off.
I bought this after reading the reviews. It works fantastic with ipods too. And originally I wanted to use it for my laptop when listening to Pandora Internet radio. The sound is pretty awesome for this little thing and everyone wants one at my house now.
I also purchased the Mutant for 1/2 the price. The sound quality on this is a little better, but not twice as good. I would not recommend either for music. I use them for audiobooks and for the purpose of voice, it's just fine
