Install it in the M.2 slot of the system board - I did it on an Asus motherboard, you get an instant 1TB of storage at your disposal. Post hardware install, you'll have to go to the Operating System to configure the storage first & format it for use. After which, enjoy your extra storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These past 10 years, when it comes to hard drives, I also go with Seagate as they are super reliable and I have never been disappointed with the brand. When I saw this new FireCuda 530 with advertised speed of 7000MB/s I decided to give it a try. Out of the box, the drive is super nice, enclosed in a solid heatsink and was very easy to install in the PS5. After testing it, I can say that this is hands down the fastest hard drive I ever owned. 1 TB is more than enough for me and this new Seagate SDD hard drive really makes the gaming experience super smooth and flawless. All in all, I really like my new FireCuda, I highly recommend it and will give it a perfect 5 out of 5 when it comes to rating.

Speeds are incredible, considering my old PC had the OS installed on an old SanDisk Ultra II 480GB SSD. One thing I noticed though.. online this is marketed as having up to 7300MB/s. On the box it says up to 7000MB/s. So which is it? I could imagine this will be upsetting for people that purchase this.

A nice quality and I can say that it works great and the extra storage and its fast. It seems to make my games faster. I've been using for a couple of weeks and no issues. I would recommend to others.
easy to install. plug it in, screw it down replace cover, snap on Playstation cover, fomat it. Boom done.
Great product but I purchased two of them and one of the boxes came with one that looked right but has screws protruded from either side not allowing it to fit and when you remove the screws and try to put it in the ps5 it doesn't work at all. The one that was the correct item in the box came in a bag warning to protect from static and the one with the screws did not come in a bag at all.
