Needed a 5TB backup drive for my data. Chose the Firecuda because of the attractive price. Drive works well, typical writ speed is 70 to 85 MB/s. So far so good.
it's working good so far but the past seagate items i brought have randomly went out on me so hopefully this one doesn't
I have many external HD, and a few of seagate. This is the first RGB one I picked up. You can get a 2TB for same price without the customized RGB. But the color is satisfying.
I got this with the intention of just storing games i dont play as much to free some storage, but its faster than my internal hard drive. still not as good as an internal ssd but an easy and simple fix for storage problems
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this my my teen daughter that is constantly having to remove and re-download games to her X-Box due to lack of space. She also drags down the internet when she does this! I decided to get her an external hard drive to avoid that. She said it's working great! It doesn't take long to access her already downloaded games. She did say the device could be a little noisy at times, but can block that out easily. She said it does heat up a bit, but not too bad. It doesn't take up a lot of space either so that is definitely a plus. I would recommend.
i got this for extra storage for my xbox, only the optimized games can be played while theyre on the unit which kinda sucks but better than not working at all. i plan to try it on my ps4 next.
Never revived the product from Walmart was delivered to wrong person, but purchased it elsewhere and it's great
I ordered this for my husband for Christmas and needless to say I was absolutely mortified when he opened it Christmas morning to someone within the store swapping out the products for dirty socks and dirty lugs nuts the store gave me a hard time trying to return it when they sold it to me this way when picking it up via curbside pick up
