honestly it's not enough space you need a 2 TB or better for most games

Bought this on clearance for $53 and it works awesome was very easy to install paired right up with my PlayStation five have no issues will give more updates as time passes I don't know what all these people are saying “it doesn't work with ps5” mine paired right up and works great
I guess I'll be the first to leave a review on this! I went to my local walmart to see if they had this one in stock and to my surprise it was on sale for $79 instead of the online price for $149. I immediately picked this one up instead of any external drive because i was worried about lag issues with any external drive for the ps5. It was very simple to install thanks to youtube videos and only required a screwdriver. As far as space, this does the job just fine. I'm able to download all the games that I play and more. I have about 7 games currently installed. which includes modern warfare. And I still have 1100 gb of free space. 500gb on my ps5 and about 600 on my seagate drive. So I can download at least another 10 games if I wanted to. Now let's get to online play. modern warfare has zero lag with this seagate drive if youre worried about online lag, no need to worry. I've logged at least 40 hours of online gameplay and have had no issues with connection, lag, button lag input. It's simply flawless. I highly recommend watching a step by step tutorial on how to install any internal drive to the ps5. Otherwise, you might damage your drive and system. But take it from someone thats not tech savy at all. this was very simple, even a 10 year old could do it. as simple as sliding the drive in. and screwing the lid closed. All-in-all, buy with confidence, and enjoy your 1tb of free space. I hope this reviews helps anyone thinking of buying. Cheers!
Decent priced, item install was super easy and works perfectly.
Bought for my ps5, worked great, then 6 months after I bought it, it bricked. i was mad, but right before I was about buy a new one i decided to see if Seagate could do anything and found out this thing is covered under a factory warranty until 2027! so im about to send my brick to them and once they receive it they will send me a brand new one. so even though it's inconvenient, they're looking out for their customers which i respect more than anything.
It worked for a legit minute. After connecting it to my PlayStation 5 it gave me only 1700MB/s and it stopped working after that.
Came in on time, wouldn't work. Hasnt worked once. Its DOA. Packaging was thrown away by accident so im out of luck returning it. Waste of money.
Don't waste your money on this. Bout it last year. My ps5 had an update Tuesday and since then it doesn't even read it. So I gave it to my friend to try in his ps5 and same thing nothing on his either
