I was looking for something somewhere in the middle in terms of firmness and this works perfectly. I looked at some that you could practically fold in half and some that were super firm. My baby is chunky so I needed something that could hold it's shape. I know there were complaints in the reviews about rips. It did ship in a plastic bag and it came slightly ripped from shipping. The mattress was a little scuffed where the hole was but it wasn't worth complaining about or returning. I would like to see it shipped in a thicker bag because that seems to be the issue.
Great little mattress for the buck. I think it's too good for kids. I grew up on something that now days wouldn't it fall under mattress category. This mattress is something else and it fits great into 3-1 Olivia crib.
We bought this on sale and really like the product. It seemed to be the most water proof mattress we could find that wasn't ridiculously priced (hundreds of dollars or more). It's firm and clearly indicated which side was for infants and toddlers.
My daughter is due on March 27th, 2009 and we were looking to buy a crib mattress. Searching for the proper one, we checked all the products on-line and found this one to be perfect. A great fit for the crib and a good price. We also purcfhased a crib pad for extra protection. I would highly reccomend this crib mattress.
well i know one of the things very important when youre buying a crib is finding the perfect mattress that will be snug in all corners... i was kind of hesitant to buy one online without feeling it first but walmart has the best return policy ever! and after reading all the reviews i decided to go for it. i purchased the baby mod parklane crib and there couldnt have been a more perfect fit!! there are NO spaces on any side at all and the matress has a built in steel edge so that the mattress wont end up being flat on the edges after kids jump or stand or you sit on it when you use it for a toddler bed.my baby wont be here till the end of august but im certain this was a great choice! it has a 15 yr warranty and feels like its not too firm and not too soft. i love it and the price was worth it too. i wouldve even spent more knowing what a great fit it was it! anyone with questions feel free and i will answer them !!!!! I LOVE WALMART !!!!!!
My 5 month old has a cold and hasn't been sleeping soundly for days. My husband placed her on this firm mattress and she slept beautifully. It's a great investment for your little ones. I expect this mattress to last many years.
The mattress feels comfortable... There was a rip in the mattress when delivered. Rated as average due to the rip... Marked that I would recommed to a friend only because just maybe their mattress would be handled and delieverd with better care.
Delivery totally unacceptable. Left at curb in a snow pile. Drive is plowed and clear of snow and clear instructions to Fedex and the delivery notice says it will be left at the door
Walmart may have the absolute worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. i ordered this mattress on 1/18/24. It was supposed to be delivered the next day. It never arrived, and there are no updates as to when itll arrive. I ordered a crib, mattress, sheets, and matress pad for a vacation home and needed it to arrive when expected. Since it didn't arrive, I ordered a SECOND mattress for in store pick-up, to be ready before our plane landed. The Walmart employee at curbside pick up said he couldn't find our order, and they didn't have it or know where it was. my husband finally went into the store after 30 plus minutes of no help, he went into to buy a THIRD mattress and saw a whole bunch of this one in stock and on the shelf. Mind-blowing. Meanwhile, we had a VERY angry, tired 22 month old waiting for this mattress so he could go to bed. After a long 8plus hour travel day, this is the last thing we needed from Walmart. By the way, Walmart, what good is the crib without the mattress?!?!? Totally unacceptable, and Walmart has lost a customer for life over this ordeal, not that they give a crap. Hopefully, this honest review of my experience will make other shoppers think twice and go with a more reliable store.
I was very disappointed in the way my maytress was shipped. It was only wrapped in a clear plastic bag not a box to protect it during transit. It did not look to be damaged but considering this was a baby item, more care should have been taken in shipping especially with it being an item an infant will sleep on.
