This mattress is a gift for our great-grandson due in late October. The crib is the one my husband and I bought for his mother 21 years ago. Sealy Posturepedic is a profuct name I trust.

I've been really happy with this crib mattress. It was a daunting job to research these before my baby was born with all of the safety guidelines out there. I wanted to get the very best for her but not overspend. I've been thrilled with this mattress - high quality and affordable. She's over a year old and it's still as firm as it was when we got it.
My daughter would rather lay in her crib than in her bassinet. It takes her just a few minutes to fall asleep on this mattress. Nice and firm, but not like sleeping on a brick!

Bought this mattress for new granbaby and she loves it. Sleeps peacefully. Purchased another one for her crib at home because she was not sleeping well on her other mattress. Sleeping well with this mattress.
A great mattress. Doesn't fold in half like my previous one. Very nice quality mattress. I was hesitant buying any mattress blindly. But this mattress is a great price and great quality. I'm very happy I purchased it!!
I think the mattress is really important and try to buy a quality that I would sleep on. I thought this mattress would be firm and similar to our simmons. It was softer, I could feel the springs more and then I noticed my baby rolling to one side. The mattress wasn't level (we actually checked it with a level and it was way off). We checked the crib to see it that was the problem. The cirb was fine, but the mattress needed 6 magazines under it to get close to level. We were able to return it to Walmart as defective (I didn't want to deal with Sealy & get another Sealy, though I did report the defect to them. They said I'd have to take pictures, cut tags, etc. to get another mattress...It was just easier to return it to the store.) A few years ago I bought a Simmons beautyrest beginnings at another baby chain for my child's crib. Still love it. When the next baby came along I couldn't find it anywhere. Didn't want the Simmons from Walmart because it's only 1 sided no flip kind...not sure what that would be like. I ended up getting a nice Simmons at my large baby retail store that is very well made, firm, & exactly what I wanted. Apparently there is no longer a shortage of what I want.
