It was very easy to install IT IS THE CORRECT RATIO TO PULL MY BOAT ON THE TRAILER. IT ALSO HAS GOOD CORROSION PROTECTION!! IT EVEN LOOKS GOOD!!
this was a great replacement for my current winch broke and this fit right the first time. It has a grip handle that is easy to turn. I think you will be please if you decide on this winch. I swaped mine out in less than 30 minutes. great product
I have not used it to launch yet but it seems very sturdy and stable. Next time i go fishin I will update this review. Installation took maybe 5 min.
I looked around a bit and finally decided to order from Walmart online. This winch is undoubtedly the best quality of the winches I looked at. I would recommmend this winch without reservation. Very pleased.
Product is a good quality steel with a hot dip galvenized coating to prevent rust. Bolts right on Caulkins boat trailer. Dual gears are nice and will out last any single geared winch...Have used it 4 times in the past 2 days...Great winch for the money.
This is a decent winch for the price. Cranks a full load well, with a comfortable grip handle. Two caveats: it is thinly-painted steel which rusts readily once scratched and the web-strap seems a bit on the thin side. I expect to have to replace it due to UV in a few years. Tip: Coat with silicone spray to extend the life of winch and strap.
Had this winch for about 6 months and it started rusting out on all the hardware, nuts and bolts on both sides of the cog wheel. The wheel became very difficult to turn so I returned it. That is my 2nd bad experience with this brand. Will avoid them in the future.
