I was really excited to get this product. When I received it, it didn't disappoint! I work 12 hour days some days and I can tell that it completely works. After 12 hours it's still working! Even after our AC unit went out in 108 degree weather a few weeks ago my armpits were dry and still smelling good thanks to Secret Clinical! Definitely was put to the ultimate test with this stressful situation. We didn't have AC for the whole weekend and I still was super fresh and dry. I have tried numerous deodorants over the years and always struggled to find one that really works. I have ruined many shirts from underarm stains, felt embarrassment from the constant wetness under my arms and always worried whether or not I stunk. Until Secret Clinical. This deodorant really works! I would often reapply deodorant several times a day but not anymore. Once a day is enough to control my perspiration. I use it in the morning after my shower but honestly, you don't need to. The directions say to apply at bedtime and that it works throughout the night with your body. I am a little self-conscious and so I apply it in the morning, as well. I also apply it at bedtime. Since I started using this I haven't had any pit stains, any wetness, or odors coming from myself. I have found that the solid is the only one that works for me. I cannot recommend this enough! #contest
I bought this because I was going to travel to Kuwait. It is a desert out there and I sweat so much! I love this product so much! It really does work for sensitive skin and the trick is to apply it after you shower at night, so when you go out in the morning, you are stinky proof! It works amazingly well! Also - a bonus! You won't smell like all the other basic deodorants! I included a picture from my Kuwait apartment! #contest
I received a free sample of Secret Clinical Strength thanks to BzzAgent and Secret. As a working mom of two I am always strapped for time in the morning, I usually put my deodorant in my purse and apply it later after I'm at work and have more time to spare....it is so easy to walk out the door and forget to apply at home. When I read the instructions for Secret Clinical Strength, I was pleased to see that you apply it at night before you go to bed! its like a fairy was sent to help this mommy out, even if its just a little part of my day it still helps! I applied this the first night and thought, since its a 48 hour deodorant you're supposed to apply at night, that it surely it would have some sort of sticky residue or uncomfortable feeling to it but it didn't. I felt no difference in this deodorant and my usual deodorant so that was a huge plus for me. The next morning I did see that it left white marks inside my pajama top, but since it was just pajamas I was not really bothered by that. I looked to see if there would be any marks on my clothes when I got dressed the next day and was please to see that there was no sign of white marks anywhere. As my day progressed I didn't feel sweaty at all, I felt clean and dry (which is saying a lot because I live in an area that is very humid in the summer and early fall months). This deodorant had a fresh smell to it, but I couldn't smell it as the day went on so it wasn't overwhelming. I have been using this deodorant at night since I received my sample and I am almost out. I will most likely buy this brand the next time I buy deodorant. The price is little more than I typically pay but it works well and has the added perk of nighttime application so I think its worth it. I would definitely recommend this to other consumers, especially if a nighttime routine appeals to you or you live in a hot and humid area. I had no problems with this even going to the gym so I think this product would work for a wide variety of women, whether you have issues with over sweating or not. I love the new Secret Clinical. I do an intense HIIT workout every morning and it is strong enough to withstand all of my sweat. The only thing I am not a fan of is the smell. It is a little floral like and since I sweat a lot, I can smell it all day long. Other than that, it works great and does not stain clothes or leave any residue. When I got this product in the mail I was super excited as I have been using secret clear gel for a long time and loving it, so when I got a chance to try Secret clinical strength clear solid, I jumped right at it. I used this product for about a week and I have to say I am very dissappointed with it. It leaves an ugly white residue on your underarms so you won't be able to use it when you plan to go sleeveless, and when it comes to odor protection I did not feel much difference between the clinical strength and clear gel that I have been using, given that the clinical strength costs more. I used to use Secret previously and had to stop once I developed chronic migraine that was heavily triggered by scents. I was excited to see that they now have a “Free” version that claimed to be “free of heavy fragrance” and “unscented”. Unfortunately, this isn't true. The product does have a scent and even has fragrance listed as an ingredient. Do better Secret.
I have been using this deodorant for the past decade or more and over the last month have started to develop a red, itchy rash under my armpits and have noticed more of a BO smell than ever before. Something has changed with this product!
