I love this deodorant, I have been using it for 3 years. Will definitely purchase again from Jet.com. Thanks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The solid goes on try and has a pleasant smell. I have tied the gel product and it feels slimy. I was so happy to find it on Jet because most stores do not carry the solid Deodorant.
I have used the Soft Solid for years. I put it on at night and no perspiration. It is tricky to turn at first, but I have weak hand and I am OK if I use a towel to turn it. I do agree there is no reason it needs to be so difficult! I can't find anything about the "48 hr" on the front label. Is this new? You can use it for two days without removing it? Need more info.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have suffered from stress sweat my whole adult life. When I found this product that was made specifically for stress sweat, I was eager to give it a try. I started off applying the deodorant each night when I went to bed as it advised that it is activated by using when you rest. After, about a week I don't need to apply as often. This secret clinical strength soft solid glides on easily, is clear, and leaves you feeling light and fresh. What I noticed is that I no longer have that fear of the unfortunate odor when I have stress sweat. The powder protection helps keep the wetness and odor under control. What I like most is knowing that when I have that inevital stress sweat, I will not have the odor nor the wetness, the deodorant is light feeling and clear, so there's no thickness or clumps, and I am left smelling fresh through the day. I also, appreciate the fact that I didn't have to reapply this during the day like I had to with other deodorants. If suffer from extreme wetness and foul odor from stress sweat I would recommend secret clinical strength. This really works wonders and has built my confidence in knowing I don't have to be stressed about having stress sweat.
I'm a big fan of the soft solid in the powder protection scent, but I can't find it anywhere. If you discontinued it in lieu of the new scents, please bring it back!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased with my experience with the Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant. The antiperspirant is a mix between a solid and a gel. To me the feeling of putting it on took a little time to get used to, but once it is applied it did not feel different than the normal solid I use. I was a little confused when reading the package and it said to apply at bedtime. I used it as directed the first time, and it seemed by the end of my work day to have worn off and I noticed some sweat and body odor. After that time, I used in the morning and it worked much better. I feel that it minimized the amount that I sweat, and keeps me dry throughout the day.
I am prone to BAD B-O especially around "that time of month", I also go to a HOT Yoga studio. I bought this deodorant needing something new to combat the stink issue. So far it has worked well, but I find the wheel at the bottom which raises the deodorant VERY difficult to turn. I am a physically capable person and struggle with it, I can't imagine being elderly or have arthritis and trying to use this product. I don't know that I will be able to continue using it myself, which is sad because I like it, but when I'm rushing in the morning I don't have extra time to spend trying to turn the wheel on my deodorant. Crazy!
The last two of these I have bought, the top that feeds the deodorant through has come off on both of them rendering about 70% of the deodorant unusable. This stuff is way too expensive to keep wasting my money on cheap packaging that leaves me unable to use the product! So frustrating!
Cannot find this scent anywhere. Furious that my Outlast Smooth Solid Powder scent was discontinued. So sick of Secret's trying to be relevant and reinvent itself - STICK TO CONSISTENCY! Why is it so hard to understand that people use these products for DECADES. Does anyone ever read these comments? People are angry that their loyalty is rewarded with discontinued products. It's not hard, just don't change.
It's disappointing the you rebranded and discontinued a consumers favorite. Rebranding one word and transitioning a product to a higher price point line might have earned an employee kudos, but you are running the risk of losing customers and I find it to be down right deceptive and greedy. The only reason I purchased Secret was for the smooth solid and from the reviews I see that line was popular with others. The gels are sticky, burn and do not dry fast, solids are cakey and get embedded in clothing and harbors the body orders long after washing. Not all clothing can be washed in hot water!! I have tried the Clinical strength product out of desperation to find the ‘smooth solid' and in my opinion it did not work better than the Secret Outlast line, as the ‘Clinical' name would lead you to believe. It also was much more expensive for a much smaller product size. It is not worth the extra money. PS most people do not want to be associated with having body odor or sweat that requires a ‘clinical' label on their deodorant/ antiperspirant. I hope that other manufacturers figure out the value of the smooth solid and if it is on patent, it expires soon so consumers can get a good product at a reasonable market value. I also must say that I never write reviews but find this marketing scam so egregious I had to write this. Too bad you would have had a customer for life.
