Very well built cabinet, nice grill to protect your speaker, loud horn. Will be purchasing another one.
Extremely well built speaker box very light weight and easy to carry.
I bought a pair of these cabinets to replace my mains. I decided to go with these cabinets to find out how they would hold up. I loaded them with a pair of Celestion FTR15 4080FD and I was pleasantly surprised how this cabinet responded. Firstly, the shipping was on time and the packaging was impressive. Secondly the grill is very sturdy and it has a slight piece of wood which sticks out to make sure the grill does not collapse on itself. Thirdly the additional high frequency driver which comes with the speaker is very nice, sharp and clear. The sound from it really did compliment the Celestions I loaded in the cabinets. Fourthly, the wiring was already properly assembled and all that is required is for you to connect your drivers and you're good to go. However, as with any product there are a few downsides such as the speaker mounting hole which is a bit too tight. I do understand that its done this way to make the speaker stable on the stand however, it makes un-mounting the the speaker rather cumbersome especially if you are not above 6ft and trust me the last thing you want to be doing after a gig is battling to un-mount your speakers. Also, although the plastic recessed handles are very sturdy because the holding handles are not cylindrical in nature it can make your palms get really sore. Futhermore, because the cabinet is carpeted, it attracts dirt which can add to the stress of cleaning. One of the cabinets had a defective jack plate but the guys at Seismic Audio were very professional and sent me a replacement pretty quick so it was all good. Overall I am going to buy two more to make it four and eventually replace all my current speakers with this set up.
Overall this is a great cabinet to replace old speaker cabinets. My 15" subwoofer cabinets were getting pretty beat up over the years. I bought two of these emtpy cabinets and installed my own speakers into these ones with ease. Within minitues I was up and running and testing each one which worked perfecly. I love that this has it's own horn driver and crossover with speaker hook ups already in the cabinet.
I just received my empty speaker cabinets and installed two 15 inch speakers and these cabinets are great, thank you.
