Wow, the sound is so amazing
The Really Mini Tremor is falsely named ! (It should be called the Mini - Earthquake) This small, power packed subwoofer delivers exceptional low end reproductions flawlessly. I purchased this small powered unit after buying several other speakers and items from Seismic Audio. Time after time, Seismic delivers. I recently used a SINGLE Really - Mini Tremor to help reinforce my small column array (not made by Seismic Audio) at a wedding. My column array sounds great for low decibel use. Adding dance music to my DJ set was overwhelming the column arrays. Problem was instantly solved by adding this subwoofer. The overall difference was noticeable from the first beat to the last of the evening. For the price and performance, simply get one or a pair. I am more than pleased ! Keep up the fantastic work Seismic !
I purchased the subwoofer to use along with my Fishman SA220 acoustic PA/Amp. It adds more than enough clean bottom end to the system for my acoustic/electric solo act. It really fills things out nicely when running mp3 backing tracks and/or guitar through one channel and vocals through the second channel. I am very happy so far with the subwoofer's performance and feel it is a true bargain.
I play keyboards and gig solo with a Yamaha CP4, Alesis SR18 drum machine, and TC Helicon vocal processor. My main amp is a Space Station v.3, which by itself sounds amazing, especially for its small size. But being a solo performer, I wanted just a little more bottom end punch without needing a truck to haul gear around. This little sub adds just enough to bring the drum machine to life and fill out the low piano notes. Best part is, it's lighter than the amp and has only a slightly larger footprint. I'm giving this 5 stars because it's just about perfect for me. But it should be noted that feature-wise, this sub is somewhat limited compared to other powered subs. Specifically, there's only one mono input and one mono pass-through output. If you're running full stereo, you may either need two of these, or some other arrangement to mix L & R into one. For my use, the SS amp has a single sub-out that combines the L and R inputs, making it a perfect solution for me. It also does not have a high-pass filtered output as some subs do, which may or may not be a concern depending on where you have it in the chain (again, not a problem for me). If you're looking for something that's going to set off car alarms, this is probably NOT the sub you're looking for; though make no mistake, it does not seem to be lacking for power. If you're a DJ, solo act, or duo playing small to mid-size venues through a smaller sized PA and want a little more bottom end while minimizing the schlep factor, this little sub is definitely worth a look.
I purchased this subwoofer to compliment a small Seismic audio PA system I have for small to medium venues. This little thing made a world of a difference when it comes to low ends and punch. I will definitely recommend this great product from one of my favorite music stores "Seismic Audio" PD: Customer service was also supeb!
I have the L-Wave 10 inch powered PA, I need a little bottom end to my musical DJ Show. The powered 10 inch Pro Audio Subwoofer sounded like what I needed. I read what I could and decided that I would order it. My surprise was I had it in a few days after ordering. Came well packaged and worked right out of the box. I love it and I entertain three nights a week, to about 200+ people, and performance is a must. I have one side at present, but will have the other side shortly, as I like a balance look on stage. I continue to put systems together as my business is growing, and I want good sounding equipment and good stage appearance. If you are looking for quality, well built sound reinforcement, Seismic Audio has it. I am happy with my products and I happy that Seismic Audio cares about the customers.
Was looking for a rig well balanced, yet portable enough to travel in a car, for primarily solo, or guitar/vox/Cajon performances. This sub with a Kustom PA50 on the pole mount has surprised every venue I've used it at. I've been playing on the South Texas coast full time for 12 years, and I always look for "affordable" gear to use during the Summer tourist season, for all the salty sandy beach gigs. This little sub has worked out better than I could've anticipated. Almost feel bad exposing it to the elements, but it's priced well enough to simply replace it when I need to. It paid for itself the first gig.
UNBELIEVABLE! Low end quality and clarity for a speaker this size is truly amazing.
The box is small and light, but the sound it produces is amazing and has great bass.
I’m pleased and impressed with my RMT sub. Nice tight low end in a simple, lightweight package. It’s a very good sub alternative to compliment my Bose S1Pro. Especially good deal for the price. I play out a lot in lower volume restaurant gigs and actually found myself dialing back the bass some. We’ll see how it holds up. I’m optimistic. Had some confusion at first with getting it set up but the guys at SA we’re very responsive and helpful. I’d recommend it for a solo acoustic guitar guy or girl playing out in smaller venues when you need some extra lows to round out your sound.
