For the price the quality is incredible. The mid and treble are clean and not too sharp, and the bass is punchy without overshadowing the rest of the sound. Listening to EDM style music I noticed mids & highs that I had not before (Using air pods before). The noise cancellation is fantastic, the only thing I would be aware of is that the fit is tight, which I prefer, but it is not uncomfortable for long periods of time, 6-8 hours. Overall in this price range 130-150 I would be hard pressed to find something that would beat this, 100% would recommend if you aren't trying to spend >500 on Focal or B&W
Great headphones good sound quality The app makes very easy to use adjust The sound quality wonderful headphones I'll recommend to customers everywhere.
Works like a charm, especially when dealing with noisy neighbors. Battery life is more than ideal (30 hours).
sounds beautiful, though I feel the Sennheiser hd 4.4bt headphones sounds better, has better ANC and also has better hand controls. the Sennheiser app is pretty useless. so there you have it. thanks.
Love the sound quality and the durability of the headphones themselves, my only complaint is that the buttons aren't labeled very well and not very intuitive.
I bought these just a little over 3 years ago. I cannot say they haven't served me well, the sound is obviously excellent, as you would expect. I don't really use the noise cancellation since there's a pretty big tinnitus risk with those functions, but it works well if you do use it. I have two main problems. Firmware and build quality. The plastic on the pads started falling apart fairly quickly. I expected that to happen eventually, I have used them outside, crammed them into my backpack, left them in the sun, etc. But If they break apart just like any cheap alternative, what exactly is the price tag for? (I believe they cost a bit more three years ago, keep in mind). Now one of the pads have come off clean, I think there's a way to reattach it probably, looks like it anyway, but they're clearly reaching the end of their lifespan, which made me think to write this review. Another issue is firmware. If you connect this thing to more than one device you will notice an incessant "Lost Connection" X10000, if you walk outside the range of one of the devices, under certain circumstances. Let's say it is paired (but not actively connected) to your laptop, and actively connected to your phone and you walk outside, playing music. Eventually, this chant will start, until you restart the headphones. This might seem like a minor thing to solve but keep in mind it wasn't clear at the beginning what caused it, which was quite frustrating. Ultimately, I paid maybe 2.5 times the price of a normal pair, and got maybe 2 times the lifespan, and a better sound quality for that time. That is not by any means a robbery, but I also had higher expectations, based on earlier products from Sennheiser.
These headphones sound okay, but not great. They certainly don't warrant any sort of premium price. You can get similar sounding headphones for half the price. The real Achilles heel of these headphones is the ergonomics: they are horrible to the point of absurdity. The controls are totally unintuitive and wholly forgettable from one listening to the next. They are easily the worst of any wireless headphones or earbuds I have ever used. Ever. And I've used many different models from many different manufacturers over the years, both expensive ones and inexpensive ones. It's almost as if they tried to make the controls as horrible on purpose in order to upsell you to a more expensive model? I can't say, I didn't try more expensive headphones, and based upon these headphones, I will never buy any other Sennheiser headphones. Do you know how you can tell the headphones are powered on, or connected to Bluetooth? You can't. There are no indicators. You have to press the power button, and if they're off they'll turn on, and if on they'll turn off. That's it. You'll get the audio prompt of powering off or on, but you can't look at them for a visual indicator. That might not be a big deal if you have one set of headphones, but like I mentioned, I have multiple, and all of them, other than the Sennheisers, show on or off %26 Bluetooth connected or not. So the sound quality isn't really worth the premium price, and the usability is so poor that they lose whatever rating stars they might otherwise be awarded. If they sounded great, I'd give them 3 or 4 stars, but they don't. The horrifying ergonomics subtracts whatever 2 or 3 stars they might otherwise be awarded.
Bought because I liked the Sennheiser brand but the HD 450BT headphones would not pair with Samsung S21 phone. Saw several others with same issue. I sent an email to Sennheiser requesting assistance but did not receive a response. Will be returning and purchasing another brand. extremely disappointed with Sennheiser.
I've never had such bad sounding headsets, the sound is horrible! to the point I'm wondering if it's a chinese knock-off.
headphones are very nice, but are plagued with issues. it doesnt automatically pair to anything, and you have to manually tell your device to connect to it every time. after a couple months of use the power button became squishy and near impossible to press. static and loud buzzing comes from the noise-cancelling mode after a bit too. And recently, the right side has completely cut out. After less than a year of owning this its become frustrating to use. Build quality is horrendous. sound is good. ANC is good when it still works. Controls are archaic and difficult to learn.
