I used the original formula before but never again! I love this express version! So fast! I don't even prime nails. Just alcohol wipe. Paint colour. Cure. Top coat. Cure and wipe. Done! If you have the no wipe top coat, even faster!!! For me, with no prime, I get a good week out of it. I am very rough with my nails and they hold up well. My only complaint is not a lot of available colour to easily purchase in store. Also, I cannot find Amy manufacturing date. I feel like my 3 colours all have different consistency to them. I suspect it's from how long they have been on shelves. I have not my nana pearl , made him blush and cherry armour.
OMG. I want all the colours! I have the original formula, which was great but takes long to apply and doesn't always turn out super shiny if everything wasn't done perfectly at every step. This new version is so easy! Literally, I can have perfect super shiny nails within few minutes! I don't even put top coat! Just wipe nails with alchohol and put on colour, sometimes even just one coat depending on the colour. Cure for a minute. DONE!!!!! LOVE!!!!! And even with my lazy no top coat version, I still get great wear for a week, sometimes longer! And so what if there is a chip? I just paint on the chip and cure a minute! Fixed!!! Removal is still like the old formula though, with acetone soak.
Used without a base coat or top coat and it turned out great! Super easy. I didn't even need an alcohol wipe afterward. Great color too!
Nail polish works great on my toes, but my finger nails not to great.
It lasts for about one week for me but I am very hard on my hands. I love it and I don't mind it only lasting a week as I don't mind applying it again as it dries so quick. I dry each coat for one full minute. Great deal better than paying $30 at the nail salon for gel nails eveytime. I would purchase again as I love the color and get plenty of compliments on it.
I really wanted to love this, but I can't. It arrived yesterday. I've been doing gel nails with Sensational for about 10 years now, with the base coat, color, then top coat. I don't have to remove those, because they will fall off or easily peel off from doing enough dishes or cleaning or coloring my hair (chemicals, warm water). The first time I tried Express Nails yesterday was on 3 nails. Two developed texture, followed by bubbles. The third was ok. I figured maybe I was careless with the alcohol not drying completely. I peeled them off, and was impressed at how well they stuck to my nail. The old way, the dry gel comes off clean. Perhaps 60 seconds per coat wasn't long enough? I polished those two nails over again, extremely thin coats, 3 coats on one and 4 coats on the other. The look and feel is not as smooth and glossy as the old way. Today I had another two nail coats fall off, so this time I used express gel with a normal top coat. 3 coats of the express gel and one top coat gave me the same look and feel as the old way of 1 base coat, 2 color coats, and 1 top coat. If they don't come off as easily, I'll call it a win. If not, I'd call it a draw. I still have hope. Oh, one good thing is the bottle is twice as big as the old bottles. Also, I must have gotten a very old bottle or something, because there was a large clot and a large long clot in the bottle clinging to the brush.
Beautiful color but peels off after a coup of days!
Chips very badly and bubbles up!!! Very obvious that this isnt the real brand. I have used the sensationail express that was purchased from an actual store and it lasted MUCH longer! I am an expert at applying nail lacquer, polish, dip powder
