My bowls came packed very well and in perfect condition. I've had them 2 weeks, they've been in the dishwasher three times washed well. We used them for a party, one bowl had chips two had dips one potato salad one mac salad and candy in one. They looked nice.
This is a nice durable set of bowls that is fairly priced, made by Gibson which I've come to know that most of their products are made very well. These are strong and weighty but not heavy like fiestaware bowls.
These arrived timely and well and safely packaged. I opened and inspected them immediately and was pleased but not surprised that the bowls arrived intact. The colors are delightful and the bowls are up to Gibson's high (though often underrated) standards. They go well with my Crayola box of colors of Fiestaware, and I am well pleased with the quality and price. An adverse comment about how snugly these fit together wondered if this would cause damage. As with all ceramic products I stack, I slip a standard coffee filter between each one. The stack of bowls is heavy, so placing them on an easily reachable shelf is a good idea.
After searching many places for bowls that were microwave safe, I came across this great set. They are so colorful and cheery. And, for the price these were an amazing value. I also love that the bowls are safe for the oven, dishwasher and microwave. They are so versatile.
They are right up my alley with their colorfulness. I live in a teeny tiny apartment and having a set a bowls like this that fit together so easily is a real space saver. A couple of the bowls are really small but perfect when you just want to take a few olives or something like that to snack on. The cobalt blue bowl is perfect for heating and eating a can of soup in the microwave. I'm so glad I found these bowls.
I gave this set only 4 stars because the first set had a large chip out of the red bowl. So, I returned it & ordered another set. The 2nd set has blemishes in several of the bowls, at least no chips. So, we kept this one.
I love the colors. They are a nice, heavy weight set. The only "issue" is they nest so tightly that I'm afraid chipping will be inevitable.
I soo love these ceramic mixing bowl, they are great value, ceramic ,durable unlike plastic bowls they turn colors, and start looking ugly. I love that the bowls nesting bowls they don't take up a lot of room, my kitchen is limit on space. If anyone is looking for good quality bowls these are it.
These bowls are GREAT! I had a party and used several of them to put things in and sit on the table. They are sturdy and quite colorful. The only "con" is that they fit tightly together when they nest and it feels like I might crack one as I re-nest them. Other than that......I LOVE THEM!!!
These are pretty heavy and thick ceramic, in bright colors. They were packed very well with cardboard and Styrofoam and I was glad it all made it to my doorstep. Unfortunately, the green bowl was chipped at the bottom. I don't believe it was due to shipping because I could not find the chip in the box, so I am assuming that it was made prior to the shipping. That's a bit disappointing, but the bowl is still usable. It's a wide chip, but at least it's shallow, and not too noticeable. I'd rather not go through the hassle of returning due to a chip in one of the bowls. The rest of them were in perfect shape. They're dishwasher and microwaveable safe and have a multitude of of uses.
