Just right for our needs. Holds a 12" computer well. Opening and closing is easy. Instructions are good. I mounted it to our floor for added security.
So glad I chose a SentrySafe. I'm 77 yes old and forgot how to access my safe and Sentry made it so easy to get the info I needed. I really appreciated the questions asked of me so Sentry was sure it was my safe.
Overall I am happy with the safe. My only feedback or reason for not giving it 5 stars is due to the handle design. It's made of plastic and has quite a bit of play in it. Feels like it could break or be a problem over time. Also, the key will only work or unlock the safe if the combo is in the correct position. I thought it would override that. Other than those two pieces, the safe itself is great. High quality. Sturdy. Heavy. 4/5.
The safe had hidden damage which was caused during Manufactuing. The shipping container was in perfect condition, no tears, holes or rips but the safe had a dent/scratch about 5" long on side. I did not notice until drilled holes for secure mounting to the floor. Inspection at the factory was not up to standard.
I like the size of the safe. it fits my requirement perfectly. However, I had a tough time getting the hang of opening the safe. The my young niece help me understand that I have to move the combinations smoothly and should not stop in between the combinations at all. after enough practice I was able to open the safe. I am 65 yrs old and owning a combination safe for the first time.
The safe was delivered with a small dent in the corner. One of the keys was bent. Waiting for a replacement key.
It will do the job I need it to (keep things fire safe by placing these inside my other, larger safe. However, as a freestanding safe, I would avoid this one. The hinges are wimpy - I could literally cut through them in about 5 seconds with cut-off wheel on my cordless angle grinder. The handle is crap, too, and feels like it would snap with any pressure applied. If you need a safe of any substantiality, this is not it. If you are looking for something that will keep things locked up and maybe give you some fire time, it should do.
I like the safe. It meets my expectations from a functional standpoint. One problem: it came damaged with a crease/dent on the left front side. This is not impacting its functionality. I believe some compensation from you would be appropriate since it's not practical to ship it back and because it is functional and able to use as intended.
Would have been nice if I would have got a new one but instead they give me one that was dented on the edges
The safe arrived with a large dent in the top right hand corner. The safe was packed in protective foam, so I believe the safe was damaged prior to packaging. I have attached photos.
