I bought this item for my son and niece today. He was playing with it only a short time when he started crying loudly. The sequin and fabric that covers the astonishing sharp steel band on the inside had become cut by that steel band which left it exposed and consequently led to my son cutting his thumb deeply enough in two different spots to warrent the need for bandaids and a wet towel to clean up the blood shed when he attempted re-cover the steel band. I recommend that if your child or children are given the opportunity to play with this product, that you promptly decline such an offer as it may save your children some tears and save you from having to figure out how to get blood stains out of your hand towels.
