The 4-Port PCI Express Serial Card RS-232 is the most advanced Multi-port serial board with PCI Express Bus. The board is PCI Express x1 compliant and works in any PCI Express slot (x1 x4 x8 and x 16 lane PCI Express slots). PCI Express 4-Port Serial Board is designed with a DB-44 connector on board and one spider cable fanning out two DB9 male connectors. The board is equipped with two 16950 UART. Each port supports up to 128 bytes of transmit and receive FIFO buffers. The FIFO buffer is 8 times of the normal 16C550 UART. Each of the RS-232 serial port supports data rate up to 921.6 Kbps with automatic data flow control to ensure no data loss.
