I am drifting off to sleep with a smile on my face every night because my pillowcases and sheets smell amazing :) I have been using Lavender and Blue Eucalyptus detergent and liquid fabric softener for over 2 yrs - it's the ONLY fragrance/brand that I buy anymore. Products work as advertised to clean/soften - and smell divine. As a person who is sensitive to some strong odors (migraines) and to certain chemicals (hives caused by contact with a different brand), I am ever so thankful for Seventh Generation products. I desperately hope that someday soon more products will be available in this scent!! For instance, hand wash, hand lotion, and especially ESSENTIAL OIL that I could use in my oil diffuser - I would most definitely buy them ALL!!
I love the way this smells so natural. It works great, and I use it knowing all the many benefits of it. Just LOVE this stuff. I am switching over to all the 7th generation household products
I am a former Downy user until the scent of it started to bother me. I tried the eucalyptus lavender scent and am now hooked. This softer works differently than downy as your clothes, sheets come out of the washer feeling CLEAN-not coated and the smell is amazing! I have a front load washer and the consistency is perfect-in fact better than downy. I know use the 7th Gen. liquid laundry detergent and dryer sheets of the same scent.
I LOVE this! LOVE! Like if you want a new laundry detergent and fabric softner, pick this. %100 will be satisfied! It majes anything and everything so soft. I can tell a difference when i use downy or snuggle and then this. It just so much softer. It smells so good! I cant get enough of this scent and the softness my stuff is!
I bought this 2-3 months ago, it was no thick when i start use, but why does it get thick like ketchup? I don't know. Can you explain it? Does it deteriorated? Can i continue to use it?
I love this stuff---most of the time. It is the only product I know of that I can use with my allergies. Everything else makes me itchy over time. Still... this stuff leaves "grease spots" on my darks and reds. I learned the hard way that I just can't use fabric softener with those loads. And now, with a bottle being too thick (I read that it can go bad and that you're willing to replace it..?) residue is left over in my washing machine and now I have grease spots all over my clothes again. I don't know how many shirts of my family's that are ruined. Do you reimburse for that, as well? Again, I think it's a great product--most of the time.
I just bought this a couple of weeks ago. I'm on a fixed income and anticipated this product lasting me for quite awhile. HOWEVER, it's too thick to go through my softener dispenser! Very disappointed!!!
This product is so thick, I can't get it out of the bottle. It's 65 degrees or over in the room. I must add hot water to try to get it out, then clumps stick to my clothes when I remove them from the washer. I usually use warm wash, cool rinse. I've never called a cleaning product disgusting, but that's what this one is.
This fabric softener doesbnot smell like lavender, but that's not a big problem. What IS a problem is the oil spots it leaves on my clothes. I had to rewash one shirt four times to get the spots out.
I certainly like the idea of this product - clear and simple - but unfortunately it does not do well in my front load washer. I am left with most of the softener still in my dispenser. It is too thick so won't go through the dispenser. My front load is quite new and is a Maytag. Is it possible I bought a bottle that may have been poorly mixed or perhaps frozen at one time?
