I have been using Downy sheets for as long as I can remember, but have recently made the switch with all our cleaning/laundry supplies to Seventh Generation. The look and texture of these sheets is very different from what I am used to, but the outcome is great. Our clothes are soft, static free, and I can feel good knowing they are not coated in some harmful chemical. And I love that the used sheet can be thrown in the recycling bin when I am finished with it!
These dryer sheets are my favorite!! They smell so good, come with a lot in the box so they last a while and they pick up all of the lint and dog hair off my clothes leaving them ready to fold coming out of the dryer!
I am really impressed with this brand. It works wonderfully at removing static from clothing, making your laundry super soft and the scents are all wonderful. They're long-lasting and this brand is very affordable and is a clean brand, which is important to me. I find it to be readily available at most stores, which is also important. The box is large and I like that the sheets can be split in half, so if you're doing a small load you don't have to use a full sheet. I definitely recommend this brand.
The first box I purchased was fantastic! Was so happy with them that I bought 2 boxes the next time. Opened the new box and found that they were no longer made using paper. Wasn't too concerned until I started using them. The sheet gets balled up inside an article of clothing and is ineffective. Any chance you be changing this product back to the paper? Not sure if I can even recycle this product in my city recycle bin...I must say I have used the dishwasher tabs by seventh generation and have been quite satisfied so this is rather disappointing
Fragrance Free? That's not true. I want the paper sheets back please. I will not be buying these ever again. I never understood why companies always have to change products. New and improved is always a bad sign. It would have been nice if you had put that on the box because people wouldn't have been duped into buying a product that you changed thinking it was the trust worthy item that they have bought for years. Very misleading packaging.
About two years ago I tried this brand and loved them. The material was almost like a brown paper bag, but still worked great. Plus no fragrance or irritation to worry about. I actually took a break for awhile from using any dryer sheets, but recently decided to try this brand again. First off, the material is different. Secondly there was a strong odor eventhough I bought the fragrance free brand. I'm sorry I won't be purchasing these again.
I had been using Seventh Generation fragrance free dryer sheets for years and they were truly fragrance free. The last time I purchased the dryer sheets, I was appalled when I received them because of the overpowering scented odor coming from the boxes. I left the boxes in my garage for months hoping they would off gas but they did not. I had to throw both boxes away. Also, the sheets are no longer brown paper and appear to be made from the same sort of fabric that other dryer sheets are made. The change in the dryer sheets seem to have happened after Unilver acquired Seventh Generation. I will not buy again.
I used to buy the old brown unscented dryer sheet which were great and unscented. They were the only dryer sheets I could find that had no fragrance. The new white ones I wont even be trying because they are definitely scented/fragranced despite the advertising on the package. It is very obvious, I don't understand how they can say it is unscented. I work in dermatology and used to highly recommend these. Now I will have to tell my patients not to buy these. I am personally and professionally incredibly disappointed in the 7th Gen brand. I also noticed their free and clear dish washer detergent pods are scented now as well.
Just figured out that these sheets are what has been mysteriously staining my clean dress shirts with oil for the past year. Blotchy, oily stains that only get worse if you accidentally iron them without noticing first. I am going to stop using these immediately--a dryer product that stains clean clothes is totally unacceptable!
I use all of seventh generation laundry products and was happy to see drier sheets. But after using them for a while i kept noticing oily stains on my clothes. I did not relate it to the drier sheets until I washed and dried my brand new, very expensive 800 thread count sheets. As I was folding the sheets I found drier sheet stuck in the corner of my new sheets and the nice big oily stain it left on them. Im anything but happy with this product.
