I ordered it the first time by accident; in a hurry, not paying compete attention, thought I was ordering a small bottle of laundry soap to wash a blanket for our new grandson. What a delightful accident! My hubby uses my dish soap to wash his hands after working on the car, and prefers this soap to ANY others, including Dawn! It is now my first choice! Works well and is safe for the environment, win/win!
Cleans great! Switched to it for baby bottles and after my babies grew out of them, I still continued using the detergent because it cleans better than the major popular bland one I was using.
Wish it stayed in stock more often. *At the realistic price of under $8 a bottle vs when out of stock if costs around $18 a bottle.
Seventh Generation makes products that are good for the environment, and the way their Ultra Power Plus Detergent Gel cleans dishes is excellent. Just make sure you check the labels and choose the "Ultra Power Plus" which is better than their "Power Plus" version.
Seems to work well. I rinse my dishes thoroughly so it's hard to comment on cleaning power. But dishes look clean, no water spots. I use it together with seventh generation rinse aid.
Favorite diswasher detergent. Smell great and doesn't make dishes smell like perfume! Never left any weird spots after washing. One thing I like is that it doesn't have a bunch of chemicals. The bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic!
Leaves no scent/taste behind yet gets dishes clean. We do pre-scrub beforehand to get majority of food off. This might not be as powerful a detergent as the heavy hitters but it suits our needs very well, and it's the only one I'll use.
I bought this because we have a septic system and I needed something on the natural side. We also have hard water so finding something that actually works has been a challenge. This works great and helps with the residue from the hard water. I also use jet dry rinse aid and my dishes are cleaner than with other "natural" dishwasher soap.
Love gel format. Easy to use only as much as each dishwasher load requires. Works very well. Environmentally friendly.
This item listing is incorrect. Title says "6/CT" and in the description, it says the weight is 26lbs. Which pretty much matches up to there being six bottles with 65oz of detergent in each bottle. Only one 65oz bottle arrived. I don't typically order this brand and only did because a) I needed soap and b) based on the price per quantity it looked like it was being clearanced out. Can't really beat under $2 for a bottle of dishwasher soap you know? Alas, just the one bottle is what they intended. It works alright, smells a bit funny, I'd rather spend $7-8 on tablets instead.
