I just received my shark blow dryer 2 days ago. I have now used it on my daughter's THICK straight hair, and my THICK curly hair. Both our hair was dry in considerably less time. I used the diffuser attachment on mine and WOW!! The curls are not frizzy and shaped beautifully in literally half the time as my traditional blow dryer and diffuser. Very happy with my purchase.
I am so pleased with this purchase. I've had it about a month and use it daily. My hair isn't crazy thick, so it never took too long to dry, but it has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend drying my hair. I also now have options/attachments which allow me to style without the excessive heat of a flat iron or curling iron. The air waver & brush attachments are awesome! Air waver does take a little bit of practice but the curls are beautiful, voluminous and they hold. I'm definitely going to buy this as a gift for a friend.
I absolutely love this dryer. I have thick, curly hair that usually takes forever to dry. This dryer cut my dry time in half and my hair looked amazing after.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blow dryer is lightweight and not big or bulky. It's nice because it's not heavy to hold while blow drying my hair. My daughter has very thick hair and normally takes such a long tome to dry. With this Shark blow dryer, it cut the time in half. For being small, it packs a lot of power. Not only that, but it's also not as moist as my old blow dryer. It has several heat speeds and settings. The brush attachment is awesome too. Overall, definitely worth it!
I love my new blow dryer and I totally recommend 100%!!!! I would most definitely repurchase this again if I ever needed an extra one. It works so good and drys super fast too! I have thick hair, that holds water like crazy. An ordinary blow dryer, would have taken FOREVER to dry this hair. But the Hyper Air, is definitely worth the money! I didn't buy the big value package, just because I wasn't sure what to expect….but, I would like to try the hair waver. :)
I am a cosmetologist and oh my gosh let me tell you this dryer is AMAZING!! I had a dyson for 7 years and when it finally bit the dust I looked into getting another dyson but found this one. It is BETTER than my dyson. The attachments are absolutely one of a kind and so easy to use! Hands down recommendation from me on this product!
I bought this dryer (the complete set) about a month ago. I purchased it thinking that the hype couldn't be real. Trying it for the first time, I put it to the test. I had to be out of the shower and ready to go in 20 minutes. This miraculous little machine dried my thick, past shoulders hair easily in 10 minutes, plus add on the styler and in 5 minutes I had perfectly curled hair. I have continued to use the attachment comb, pre-styler attachment, and the curler. I have not used the diffuser yet, but I do have naturally curly hair, so it's nice to have that option. I honestly had purchase regret as the money came out of my bank account, however, this hairdryer has been worth every penny! I only wash every 3-4 days, then blow dry and style (if needed), and I am easily able to wear my hair down for 3 days. I have had so many compliments on my hair lately! Attached is a picture of my hair (shower wet to styled in 18 minutes). Most days I let it air dry for a bit, but it is nice to know I can hop in the shower and have it styled this fast!
This is the best hair dryer I've ever had hands down! I have wavy hair so I use the diffuser the most and my drying time reduced from 45min to only 10/15min which is AMAZING for me! I also used the brush to straighten my hair for the first time in 2 years and absolutely loved the result, how smooth my hair was and how fast I could do it too! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the wave maker, honestly, I've tried to use it several times and still didn't turn out great, will keep trying and maybe someone will make a tutorial about it eventually, but for now that's it! I have used this dryer a few times in the last month and already some of the bristles on the brush attachment are bent. I like the speed at which I get my hair done, but I am troubled by the fact that some of the brush attachment bristles are already bent and don't seem to be going back into place. For the price and otherwise good quality, I would expect the unit and attachments to remain pristine for longer than three uses. Hopefully there will be some improvements made to the brush attachment to make the bristles stronger.
I realize the seller is permitted to resell items, but I feel this transaction was completely unprofessional and expected better of a Walmart reseller. The hairdryer came in a Lowe's box that had a large grease stain under the label. The actual hairdryer box had a partially removed Ross sticker and the price of $125.00 was written on the top of the box. She could have at least hid the fact that it came from Ross and how much she paid. I will pay more attention next time. I would have been fine if I'd purchased this from eBay or Mercuri.
