[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always had my hesitations about a vacuum that would run itself, and at the same time that always sounded awesome of course, so I finally got one and tried it out myself, and I'm glad I did! It looks good and keeps my floors clean, and honestly I was impressed by how quiet it ran compared to a more traditional vacuum cleaner! It docks into it's little space easily and charges up fairly quickly, a few hours for that first charge and probably the same for later charges although I don't usually check, and the battery has plenty of charge to clean our house, which is about 1200 square feet total but it's probably only cleaning maybe 800 of that, max. Still, it has no trouble, and while it's certainly less efficient than a human would be at getting to every spot in a clear pattern, it does get everything except right up against some furniture, and we've loved having the floor clean more often! I try to empty the bin from it every time it runs, but it probably doesn't even quite need that, maybe every other time. The app is so cool, too! I can set the schedule, or I can just run it from there even if I'm not home, and I can recall it to the dock anytime too. It shows the charge level too, which is how I tracked the first time to see if it could get the whole house before the battery ran low. Very cool to be able to see all that on my phone! Overall, a very nice product and I'm glad to have my little robot around. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to name it...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My friend had a robot vacuum a few years ago and I was never impressed with how it worked. I did not have very high hopes when this arrived but wow, was I absolutely wrong. First off this vacuum is impossibly easy to use. It comes with magnetic strips to block off no go zones and you can control it via phone or tablet. You can also use the hands free and just tell your device to start the vacuum. Once it started up i was surprised at how quiet it is. The noise is not even 1/3 of a typical vacuum. It starts to drive and I was worried that after bouncing around it wouldn't cover the entire area. Again, I was so wrong. We have a large carpeted area and a section of hardwood. It navigates both very easily and I let it go in the kitchen too and wow, I just can't describe how well it does. I can sweep and it didn't do half the job the vacuum does. The carpet looked amazing but I let it finish cleaning and it still pulled up another whole tray worth of cat hair and crumbs I didn't know was still in there. The vacuum will tell you when it's full and when it's stuck so I can do what I need to do like cook dinner and let it do it's thing. The floors are clean and I don't have to keep up with all of the messes the children and pets make. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's so easy to use and my house is guest ready all the time and I don't have to constantly spend my free time vacuuming

There is an App available to set up times for it to run while I'm away, but I've chosen not to use it. It DOES get hung up occasionally, so I prefer to be at home while its running. The container that collects the dust and dirt is not large so initially it filled up quickly, however after that first day or so my little "Beetle Bug" keeps my dust bunnies under control. I laughed when I set it up in my bedroom and closed the door, on my return I found two socks I had been missing...evidently under my bed, ha! Lastly, I love how it re-docks itself when the batt gets low.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new shark ion vacuum its amazing cleans up cat hair and all the dirt I am able to run my vacuum from my phone and it has a charger I plug into the wall and I can dock my vacuum and it charges it truly is the best vacuum i ever owned it picked up so much cat hair I didn't even realize was there and it has a bump censor and it can redirect itself so it didn't get stuck also if I put down the magnetic strips it keeps the vacuum from areas that could be dangerous like under furniture or by wires and plugs. If you need a vacuum cleaner that runs on its own and you can control through your phone and cleans your house amazingly this is the vacuum for you.

Its light weight yet so powerful ,do not under estimate it given its size and weight. The packaging includes: * Lithium-ion battery * Charging dock * 9-ft. of botboundary * 2 botboundary connectors * Cleaning tool The setup is simple and easy to follow, just install the shark app and follow some steps. You need wi fi for the setup and use. We recently moved to a new apartment and still setting up the apartment. The renters before us, had pets at home hence we are more concerned about the pets hair. Hence putting the shark on the test was the best idea to see how much it has the suction power. First we vacuumed the carpet with our regular vacuum cleaner which picked up a good amount of dirt and pet's hair, though we were not expecting this much. Then we started the shark to see if it has more power to deep clean. I have the videos and pictures attached while it was on the work and you can see the carpet was already vacuumed before we ran it. Wow, it was amazing as well as shocking to see how much dirt it has picked up even the carpet was cleaned thoroughly with a powerful upright vacuum cleaner. It picked up about the same amount of the dirt picked up by the regular vacuum, which is amazing to see how powerful it is. I ran this on the hard floor, again it picked up so much dirt and dust which is applauding. Its auto-sense Navigation helps navigate around obstacles and away from stairs and ledges. Dual side brushes clean edges and corners with ease to make sure all your floors are covered with powerful performance. Best thing is that you can schedule the cleaning and do your regular task even at home or outside using the app or Amazon Alexa. There are hosts of features in this shark ,you can go through the manual or online to suit to your needs. How long will this last given its light weight, I am not sure of or I do not want to know ,because so far I am enjoying this device. It is easier to collect the trash which is visible to eyes but what matters the most, it collects the minutest piece of dirt which we normally do not see by the eyes and it is proven by the test I put to it. It has passed the tests with flying colors. I have also recommended this to my family and friends, specially to my in laws and they are also considering to buy it.

I have a dog that sheds terribly and was worried that it wouldn't pick up the hair very well, plus the other crumbs and dirt on the floor that gets tracked in. Upon opening the box, I noticed the detailed, yet easy to follow instructions on how to set up the vacuum. In very little time I had the vacuum set up and cleaning floors. I have hardwood, tile, and area rugs throughout and was very impressed at how well my floors were quickly cleaned and how quiet the vacuum was. I love that I don't have to worry about using bags as the Shark Robot is bag less and very easy to dump dirt from the dust bin into the trash can. Being able to use my smartphone to control the Shark Robot is the best and easiest thing ever as I can schedule cleaning times and days that fit my schedule. This vacuum has made cleaning so much easier as I don't have to use multiple vacuums, brooms, dust mops, etc. I love that it frees up time for me so that I can get other cleaning tasks done. My only complaint is that it can't get into certain tight spots, but that's to be expected and doesn't take away from how great this machine is. I love my Shark Robot and would recommend it to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this vacuum for the last week and I really like it! It comes with the unit, charging dock, 6 brushes (2 to install and 4 for replacement), extra filter and boundary tape. It is easy to set up. You just have to snap on the 2 brushes, flip on the power switch, plug in the dock and put the unit on the dock for 3 hrs before 1st use. On the top it has a WiFi light, an indicator light on how much power is left in the charge, a button to start/stop cleaning, button to change to Max cleaning and a button to have it return to the dock. The unit can also be controlled with the app from your phone. With the app you can start/stop cleaning, change it to Max cleaning or regular and return it to the dock. You can also make a daily schedule for the unit to clean which it does for 60 mins before returning to the dock. As the unit moves around if it bumps onto an obstacle it rotates and tries again until it can move correctly. The more times it is used the unit learns your home and will map it in the app so you can then choose a specific room to clean when needed. I haven't used it enough for that feature to work yet. The app also notifies you if the unit gets stuck or if the dirt trap isn't in all the way and all sorts of stuff. Now it can't get in every nook or cranny and under some furniture so I still have to do some sweeping ing but that's ok. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats with hardwood floors. Before if I wanted my floors spotless I'd have to sweep several times a day and who has the time or energy for that?! This vacuum picks up soooo much animal hair, dust, dirt and larger items which really saves me time and my sanity because I hate looking at dirty floors. Of I could change a few things they would be: larger trap for the dirt, thicker brushes but overall I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This robot vacuum is a life saver for a bachelor. I set up a schedule in the app, and it does its thing. It's really quiet which I love. It does a great job cleaning which I also love. The battery has a long life and it came with extra side brushes which I thought was pretty great. The things I didn't love about the Shark Ion is that there's no way to map it and it doesn't remember where it's cleaned already so sometimes it runs the exact same area in my living room for 30 minutes and I have to pick it up and manually move it to a different room or different area of the living room. Those are really the only complaints I have. My overall opinion is that it makes life easier, it does what it's built to do (even if you have to help it a little sometimes), and it's so quiet I don't even know it's on until I trip over it lol. It's a great robot vacuum!

As a busy working Mom of two, not having to vacuum everyday and crossing that off of my “To-Do” list is a huge benefit for me! The barrier tape does it's job and keeps the vacuum away from furniture or surfaces that will easily throw-off the vacuum. And if the vacuum does get stuck, you can get notifications from the app to go and move it. The only disadvantage is the suction, it's not 100%, more like 80%, but for not having to do it myself with a handheld vacuum, I'll take it, because the vacuum does the job!

The first thing that caught my eye was not actually the product itself but how the product came through shipping. The box the Shark Ion Robot was in happened to say what was inside on two sides of the box in big black letters (picture enclosed) which would have been very easy for anyone driving by my house to see and swipe it up. Upon opening the box it comes with clear instructions as to how to put it together and operate it, along with two extra sets of spinning brushes, which I thought was nice. Plugging in the charging dock and powering up the product took a little time. It took about 3 hours for it to fully charge. Shortly after I connected it to the app through WiFi and it worked like a charm. It took about 2 hours to clean my house and did a great job at that. It comes with these strips you can put down in your home so the robot doesn't go where you wish it would'nt. After trying this product for only 2 days the front spinning brushes started to get stuck. After trying to solve the issue with the brushes with no luck I have decided to review it. Maybe with better brush motors this vacuum would get the 5 stars I think it deserves but since they stopped working after a short period of time I am rating this product 3 stars.
