This iron really gets the job done. I haven't had a problem with it so far. It takes the wrinkles out of my clothes very quickly. Hasn't burned any of my clothes and it doesn't leak water like most irons that I've used. So it's definitely a win for me!
This is a standard item that I usually always have at my house because I like how sturdy it is compared to other similar products that cost the same amount. It is a little more costly than some others, but I feel like they hold up way better than the others.
So far I am happy with this iron. I have not had it for very long. It is sort of heavy and a little odd in that you must turn it to lowest setting before unplugging or it will stay hot for a long time. I chose this iron because I know shark makes good products and because other reviewers mentioned the long cord, a very good feature.
I am an odd ball and I iron my pillow cases (try it it and you won't regret it, but use starch) and I love this iron. It's not as heavy as my old one, which is a big deal for me bc I've got chronic pain, and this is a huge difference! I would highly recommend this iron for anyone, we got it in a fluke bc our old one died, but best purchase ever.

The iron is made well and I love all the features it offers. My old iron still works but doesn't have features I want. It irons very smooth and has levels of heat depending on what you are ironing and the spray is really nice to moisten the fabric and take the wrinkles out.
I bought this iron after owning another Shark iron previously. I was familiar with how easy they are at ironing and not sticking to clothes. The iron does a great job. The only set backs are it's bulky and shoots out hot water sometimes when lifted from clothes.
I use an iron on a daily basis for quilting projects. I bought the Shark G1405 and it worked great at first and the sole plate was great for ironing seams. But after only 88 days it leaked water like a quality strainer! 88 days!! What a disappointment. It's leaking out of the heel portion of the iron not the steam holes. If the iron is more than 1/3 full of water it leaks over everything.
I've had another shark iron that last me very long and heat up beautifully but was dropped and now leaks water. I purchased this one and it didn't heat up as much as my other shark and quit working after one use of ironing 5 work shirts 5 work jeans didn't work again. Thank goodness Walmart let me return it for a full refund. I would not buy this iron again.
