[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this vacumm a few weeks ago. Easy to put together. Love that it has a anti allergen and Hepa system. Traps dust that cant even see. Comes with 3 attachment upholstery, 12 crevice tool and a pet power brush. The pet owner brush used on furniture gets all the dog hair and more off. There is a suction control switch. Easy to take rollers out to clean them easy to put back in snaps right back in. Push button are easy to read and easy to switch from carpet to hard floors. Swivels head helps get to hard to reach spot. U can use it upright or u can use it by the liftaway. It light weight and can be carried. It got a portable canister. Easy to empty the canister on dirty and dust. I love that it has no hair wraps around the roller.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! It was pretty easy to put together. The instructions were easy to read and follow. I just had to click pieces together.The vacuum is a beautiful dark green color. The dust cup is really big, it holds a lot of dirt, hair, and trash from my carpet and hardwood floors. I used this for a whole week before I had to empty the dust cup. However, the cup is very heavy. I thought it might be daunting when I started to vacuum, but I could barely feel the weight after turning it on. The vacuum tilted from left to right, which made it easy for me to maneuver around the living room and get into more corners. I used the crevice tool for under the couch and in the tight corners. The suction on this vacuum is amazing, it picked up everything from a tiny speck of dirt to larger pieces of paper. I used the pet power brush on my carpeted stairs because I have a rabbit, who is getting his summer coat, that loves to run up and down my stairs. It was pretty cool to see the brush get up all that hair from the stairs. I loved that I could adjust the amount of suction on the hose. On my hardwood floors, the suction was just as good as the carpet. It was just a simple push of a button to change over to the hardwood setting.

I used my old vacuum prior to using the Shark for the first time. I could not believe what the Shark picked up - after I used my old vacuum. I love that you can configure it in so many ways. Anything you need to do - this Shark makes it easy. The Lift Away makes it so easy to clean anything - any height. It lifts off quickly and is an easy click to put back. The light gives you a clear view - nice and bright. The attachments are easy on - easy off. Super easy to empty the dirt container. No more putting my hand in the cup to pull out all the dirt. I have cats and dogs - so always a lot of pet hair. After multiple uses - no hair to remove from the roller - amazing. Great picking up cat litter. All the controls are easy to reach and use. Super long cord. No more dust in the air - it truly is sealed. Works equally well on carpets and hard flooring. I love that you can adjust the amount of suction. So smartly designed. I have used many vacuums - but this outshines them all. Don't hesitate to get one. I used to have multiple vacuums to accomplish cleaning my house. Now all I need is my Shark. Truly a game changer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have you ever seen a grown woman scream like a kid at Christmas when she gets a vacuum cleaner? I can officially say I have now. She was amazed the amount of dirt, debris, dust and pet hair that was picked up upon the first vacuuming of our living room with this Shark Lift Away Vacuum Cleaner. First she vacuumed the floor with our normal vacuum cleaner and it did look clean BUT then she busted out this bad boy. I was completely taken aback by the amount of junk that was still left on our carpet that this vacuum successfully picked up! In her words "This vacuum cleaner is amazing, I cant wait to do the stairs and landing!". Ive never seen my wife this excited to clean the house before. For that alone I give this 5 stars. It is very quiet and has so many gadgets to literally clean anything you want. Great suction power and my wife was able to carry it around everywhere. I will never go back to another brand of sweeper!
First off I purchased this product on 5/31 and received it 11 days later. The assembly was easy enough, I was concerned though because I did not hear any clicking sound when I put the base on the wheels and I could lift it right off without pushing the lift away button. After worrying about this a bit, I decided to try it out anyhow. It picked up like a champ, I used it on the carpeting first one thing I noticed it does not get the edges great and it is harder to push. I think this is because of the extra roller on the bottom. They do provide attachments which I love the motorized brush that one works best, but they don't provide a space on the vacuum to store all the attachments that it comes with. I clean homes for a living this one I brought for my personal use, because my Dyson DC41 had finally decided to spring a leak in the hose. The other vacuums we use for house cleaning have always been sharks. They are more convenient for getting around things and usually lighter the haul in and out. Like the shark speed. Well back to the product as stated it picked up so much I had to empty. I then went back and attached the wand to get the edges of the carpet and at this time I realized the unit was locked so the lift away button was engaged which made me feel better about the product. I did my kitchen floor next it was an easy switch of a button. It did a great job it there. All in all I would recommend this product. Could it be better ? Yes, but this is why things are always being improved. To some it up in my view. Pros: easy to put together, large waste container, great suction, awesome motorized tool brush and easy switch buttons for different functions. Cons: Does not clean edges well, can't have all attachments on the vacuum, need muscle to push across carpet, and not all the clicking sounds are heard when putting it together. Hope this helped. I did read all the reviews on all the others and pick this one because it sounded the most sturdy. It really should be based on what you are cleaning if you have a home with mostly wooden or tiled floors this would be a great pic!
I waited for this product to become available (it was a new product) instead of buying one of Shark's other upright vacuums and I'm glad that I did. I've previously owned a Shark and loved it but what sets this model apart is the lift away function. Suction is good as is the pet hair remover tool. It didn't receive 5 stars because it is quite heavy (much heavier than my other Shark was) and the lift away portion of the vacuum comes off the base quite frequently when trying to move the vacuum whilst in the upright position.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have another shark but it didn't get the really small dog hairs that stick in the carpet. This beast gets every. Single. Hair. The lights make it so easy to see under things before sucking up something you shouldn't, it's easier to push and the adjustable suction works great. Another thing I love about it is the cover on the brush. If you do suck up something you shouldn't you can just pop that off and pull it out without wrestling with it. My only 2 critiques are it's bulky. Because the container is larger it doesn't fit under my coffee table and the second is the heat it puts out. Oh, also the lift away is great for the stairs or cobwebs. Overall love it and is now my daily vacuum.
I got this because it was like my old one which is out of stock and the closest to my old Shark. This one is a beast though. It's VERY VERY heavy - unlike my last one which was matron and the same kind the Duo clean.. it has great suction just way to heavy for comfort.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that I am surprised by the how much suction this thing has. I can pick up a bowling ball with it! You can feel it sucking into the floor through the carpet and it picks up more dust and dirt than any vacuum we have ever had..even the expensive one that we bought years ago. It is super convenient with the removable base, and the included pet tool as well as having two different ways to use the tools extension (short or long version). It even has a button that switches from carpet to hard floors and allows the use of a different beater bar brush for each. The hard floor brush actually buffs the floor. As for cleaning the beater bar? This vacuum has a clear view piece on the top that is removable to allow you to get to all sides of the bar if you need to clean it. The two problems that keep this from being five stars: the cord is too short...it needs another 10 feet of so as i cannot cover bigger rooms without switching plugs...and....while it comes with three tools, it only has storage on the machine for two. ...not sure why... My wife thinks that the removable part is a little heavy, and that the front of the vacuum is a bit thick in that it limits how close you can get to things and furniture.
I've had this for two weeks. I chose this model for the self-cleaning feature. I have 3 dogs, so perhaps more hair on my floors than most people, but I have never had hair stick to the brush roller of any vacuum that I have owned as much as this one does! Does a nice job of picking up on both my carpet and hardwood floors, but I have attached a picture of the hair I cleaned off of the brush roller after vacuuming twice.
