I want something that, quite simply, works. No internet, no messaging on the screen, no complications, no "voice assistant" listening, no "suggestions", no interruptions. This calculator works great the old fashioned way. Footprint a bit smaller than it's predecessor. It has the weight and the quality to last for many years. I research for hours and hours to find THIS kind of equipment and then I spring to get it while it's still available.
Great daily use calculator for work purposes. Have one for accounting job, one for township treasurer job and one for home/farm accounting work. A very reliable and economical calculator.
An accountant for many years, this is the best calculator I have found. The keyboard has large keys that strike like the classics. The calculator lasts for years.
MY LAST SHARP LASTED 15 PLUS YEARS. I AM AN ACCOUNTANT AND IT TAKES A BEATING. THE TOUCH/ACTION OF THE KEYS IS BETTER THAN OTHER BRANDS. LOVE IT ! ! !
I have bought about 5 of these calculators over the past 5 years for workers in my accounting offices. They work great and are priced very well. I would highly recommend them.
My Sharp that was bought in the late 70's bit the dust last month. It lasted so long that I just had to buy another Sharp. They are similar in that all the keys are in the same place, so no new learning another process.
The ordering was easy and the item shipped the same day. Quick and easy. The calculator was needed as soon as possible and it was delivered that way. I trust the Sharp name and Sam's shipping always on top of things. Thank you for having the item at a great price and getting it to me quickly.
I have used this brand of calculator for years....Just had to replace mine and was relieved that the same one was still available. Now that I am using the new one, I am so glad that the quality is still there. Will continue to purchase these for the office. We all love them.
I am replacing an older Canon desktop calculator that simply died during tax time. The Sharp EL 1197PIII does everything I need it to. I received it within 3 days of ordering so Sam's Club shipping was great and appreciated.
I have used this model of calculator for 30 years. The last one I purchased about 5 years ago from another store, but it will not print any longer. I changed out the ink cartridge, but even changing the ribbon did not help. Otherwise, it looked and worked like new. A co-worker had the same problem with her exact model calculator. I am hoping I don't have the problem with this one.
