This clock is small and it works. It doesn't have a bunch of frills like charging ports, speakers, a radio, or a hidden set of ginsu knives...it's just a clock. It tells time. And it will wake you up if you set it to do so. It's a solid little clock with a battery back-up.
This is a simple, electric alarm clock with battery back up. The alarm is loud enough, but not loud enough to wake the dead. 8 minute snooze. The dial is large enough and bright enough to read, but does not light up the whole room like a night light! It is the perfect alarm clock for me!
My 91 year old mother purchased one of these clocks years ago. Recently it stopped working. We found a digital one in the store, very similar to the electric one she had. She was not pleased with it however. So I decided to check on line and found the exact same electrical clock she had purchased years before. It is working well and she is quite happy. Thank you for carrying this product. It really meant a lot to an old lady.
Love this Clock. Works great! The number's are very large, so I can see the time from almost across the room, which is a plus, as I wear glasses. My 20 year old hand clock went out/died on me. I now wish it had fallen off a ten story building long ago. Ann
This purchase replaced the same clock purchased 3 years ago. The ALARM off/on switch wears out. Expected for the price paid.
I usually sleep on my left, and the only desk/table to put a clock on my left is at the end of the room. I tried regular alarm clocks but when you wake up to quickly check time in the middle of the night (with sleepy eyes!) it was difficult to see or focus. This clock has 3 times the height of regular clocks and the most tired/sleepy eye can quickly tell the time! It is a no-nonsense clock: Nice appearance, red LED (and not blue, green or ...), LED has two settings (I usually select LOW), time and alarm are easily selected by a little keyboard on the top, and after a month of purchase it shows the time very accurately. The alarm first starts "friendly" so not to wake up others, then progressively gets louder and louder.
This clock, to replace one whose alarm button had after a decade or so become inoperable, is cheap and good. But I wish I could set backwards as well as forwards and so not have to go 23 steps forward when I want to get up an hour earlier the next day.
Exactly what you need in a bedroom. Small enough to not crowd the nightstand but numbers large enough to see during the night. Price very reasonable.
Good clock overall, but you cant have it in your nightstand because it make a buzzing noise (like a transformer).
