Three words to best describe this mini component: stylish, powerful and practical.
I take this to my college tailgating. Easily transportable with great booming sound.
I would recommend this system to anyone interested in keeping their old cassette tapes and CDs. Good value for the price.
Based on its performance, I am surpised how low the price is1 Wonderful.
The Hi Fi system is fully ok and is certainly worth the money spent. I have two warnings: - there are useless features such as the lights in the speakers... - it is not the right product if you are a true, picky music-fan.
...the fm antenna is just awful. After several attempts, it apears to have a basic design flaw. The 75 ohm male is so close to the am antenna that standard push on stuff dosent have the clearance to properly fit. So I ordered a 75 ohm push to male adapter and will see if it works, otherwise i'll only get the local radio station. If fm radio isnt important to you everything else works really well. The sound quality is excellent and plays all the way to max without noticeable distortion, so you sould'nt ever blow the speakers.
The product I recieved worked in all regards, except the fact that the CD drive was broken out of the box. It would not open, only made clicking sounds when the eject button was pressed. It worked with my flash drive, and it was very heavy on the bass. I returned it for refund, wondering if the CD drive was broke out of the box, then how long before something else broke on it. Not worth the risk.
