There are instructions and suggestions on what each attachment works best for. This is a POWERFUL deep tissue massager! It exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to power! The downfall is that it is heavy. If you need your shoulder tension taken care of, con someone else into handling the machine for you. Otherwise, your arm is going to give out before the knotted muscles do. It holds a good charge; the battery is not dead yet and my household has put it to the test! We all love it!

It has multiple speed settings but level one is perfect for me because the harder you press the faster the machine runs. It's perfect for my legs after those tiring 12hr shifts of standing a majority of the time. I feel the tension leave my legs almost immediately. I trying it on my back also but it just bounced all over the place so I still prefer a physical hand massage on my back. But I definitely recommend for arm and leg massage.
