[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sleep better with noise from my fan, but I don't always like the draft it creates, so this sound soother is a great option for me. I like that it is simple since I don't need a machine with cricket sounds or trains and such. It does have a light, which is a great feature. The pitch can be adjusted by pulling the "stem" on the front. I also like that I can turn it off with a long press of the power button, and I don't have to cycle through all the settings to do it. It is sturdy and easy to operate.

I would either fall asleep and then wake up a few hours later and then I couldn't go back to sleep. The other problem is not being able to sleep at all. This Sharper Image Sound soother white noise with LED. This has many different options you can pick from. You can adjust everything the lights, the noise level and and you can muffle the sound. I tried a few different settings until I found the one that works for me. I have been able to fall asleep faster and stay asleep all night.

Been using this for about a week on the rain setting and have been able to fall asleep easier actually stay asleep and wake up rested. Uses 4 AA batteries or you can use the usb power cable . an adjustable light surrounds the selection of sound on the bottom of the machine.. (Hold power button to dim the light) 30 minute timer increments if you wish to use the timer feature. 3 different settings such as relax sounds sleep sounds or renew sounds. But any can be used for any occasion for example I like the rain setting which is accessible under the relax button instead of sleep so it is really up to you . highly recommend

Sometimes i have trouble sleeping at night whether my brain wont stop. Lol. Or noise or stress, bt these soothing sounds makes me feel so relaxed & at ease. Love that u can also use it to listen to music with speaker or with headphones. Also love its travel friendly & comes with USB cable cord, which is useful. Love how many soothing sounds & volume & brightness levels they give u. So if are like me & need a really good sound machine, that has several different benefits with sounds/volume/brightness & travel friendly, then i suggest try this, cause i love it!

You control the volume by opening two different areas of the device, and there's a little haptic button to control the brightness and motor speed. Once you plug it in, it's on. Overall it's a decent product but these days I'd just recommend an Alexa or Google Home instead which can do the same thing while also giving you the option of cricket sounds, ocean, rain, etc.

Two things to improve are timer and patterns. It will be much better if I can set a timer and if there can be more tone pattern such as heartbeat

Love the light and how it can change brightness. Love how you can change the tone and pitch of the sound but I do wish it was louder. It is well made. I highly recommend if you like a quieter white noise machine.
