This is a case of a company inventing a dynamite product that everyone loves – then engaging in blatant price gouging. I have used non-retractable Sharpies since the 1980's and the retractable pens since they were invented. Over the decades, I've noticed the reduction of ink from the original markers to about half the amount of ink they used to have, and I've watched the incredible price gouging over the decades with this product – from about $1 to $4 a pen. Today I searched all over the Net for a semi-reasonable price on retractable Sharpies and this particular set is the BEST price per pen that I could find anywhere. I suggest that you do the same since they're now gold plated markers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these! I never realized how convenient not having to place a cap back on could be. These retractable markers make jotting down notes seamless. I appreciate that the clip (found on the traditional markers) is still there, allowing me to clip the marker to the stand that I keep all of my notepads in!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers are handy! We do a lot of labeling and initialing around the farm. Between tools, totes and making permanent marks we go through markers quickly. It's nice to not have a cap. There's no losing the cap and wasting a marker. A simple click and write and click and put away. I haven't noticed them drying out either. The market is bold and precise with no smearing. These will be in every shop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this SHARPIE RT FINE O S RED about a month ago and i am happy i did because it works really great and comes in really handy for a lot of stuff. It's definitely a very reliable pen. I definitely recommend this pen for anyone looking for a good sharpie.
I got these for my Mom, and she's thoroughly enjoying them, even getting creative with them. Since they are retractable, she doesn't have to worry with a separate cap, which is just what we wanted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SHARPIE RT FINE O S RED pen is awesome it is smooth and easy to use to write. The click to put the ink in is great to keep it from drying out, I love the red color. I will eventually buy some once im able too and definitely going to recommend these to family and friends
These worked good for the project we needed to use it on.
These were not my first choice. Sharpie, yes... Retractable? I was concerned they would dry out quickly. As it turns out, when they retract, they close inside. Love them. All the great qualities of Sharpie with the ease of a retractable.
dont buy... these particular ones have a sleeve that has a division at the top where the clip is(for hanging on shirt pocket) and when you click it, the sleeve SEPARATES and marker comes apart. they mustve switched companies who made the pen casings because ive got sharpie brand retractable markers that ive purchased singley and those are one solid sleeve all the way to the click top. i have book tape pieces holding them together now to be able to use them. brand new, looks like ive had them for months.
