This floor kit was really easy to install into my shed i just folded down the taps and installed into the slots.
Makes installing a floor the easiest and best way to go.
As far as frame kits go this one was perfect and it was exactly same one offered at Lowes for $119.....Walmart around $48.... Now if you are thinking about constructing the small sheds I would say to Forget it. If a project is telling you it will take 9 hours with 2 people you are already in over your head. The 4x7 slanting kit took 3 adults well versed in building a good two days.
Needed a base for my shed and Walmart was the lowest price I could find! Went together ok. Makes a nice base when you get together.
$75 for 8 flimsy pieces of aluminum strips to use as a floor? The shed itself is so flimsy you HAVE to build a floor out of 2x4's and plywood (which I did for less money) and screw the shed to it. I am sending the floor back. Would send the shed back to if I was able but it will do as long as it doesn't snow or the wind doesn't blow more than 30 mph.
Unless you are going to put this building on a completely FLAT concrete slab, the kit is useless!! The cross beam pieces are made of a flimsy aluminum. I, a 57 year old woman , can bend them with my bare hands!! Our shed is set on a dirt floor, relatively flat, and the struts are completely USELESS. As soon as the plywood was laid on the struts, the tabs bent and twisted to the point of breakage.
At first we thought this floor would be good to use for the shed that we purchased. They both went together but were a separate purchase. It was not a very usable floor. Very flimsy. We, my husband and I, put it together and installed it after the shed was finished, but it was so flimsy we took it out and put down our own framed floor and used ply wood. It was just too flimsy for us. It went in correctly, easy to install, all of that was fine. We would recommend that if you can make your own framed floor, do it. This wasn't worth the time and effort, at least not for us.
