I bought this 12x24x8' shelter coat when I bought my boat 4years ago. it was the best investment I could have done. I don't have to worry about my boat getting damaged by the sun, rain and wind. And also don't have to worry about animals getting hair and urine all over it. It was simple to install as long as I had help putting cover on. It's held up pretty good but I'm going to need a new cover soon! I would say I need to replace cover every 5 years. But I also live in Southern California.
We purchased this to cover our new RV. The set up was simple but took time because of how large the tent is. The price was about half other places. We love it.
This is a high quality product, exactly what we were looking for and works great for our RV. But OMG, putting it together with anything less than an army can be difficult, plus dont try in hot sun, I burned my hands bad. I know it needs to fit snug and I am now happy it does, now that I am done. My friend plans on buying one after he has seen ours complete, thats great, just dont ask for my help putting it up. 4-5 hours my rear.
Easy to assemble, great product, only thing we have had issues with is the zippers on the doors. Overall a great product.
I bought the product for my boat. The directions were not very clear. I basically figured it out on my own, but better directions would have helped me set it up quicker. It came with 3"" bolts but needed 31/2"" bolts for the shelter locks. I had to buy these at the hardware store. I also bought t posts to anchor it down since the supplied auger anchors were a joke to install and would not have held in a good windstorm that we get here in Utah. Overall a good product with a few minor issues in the setup.
This canopy is very difficult to assemble because the holes in the poles were punched. The punching of the holes left indentations on the insides which disallow insertion of the next pole. Holes need to be reamed with a drill, protrusions need to be hammered down. Some weld joints inside pipes are very thick, creating a protrusion, disallowing pipe insertion. Ends of pipes need to be dented to allow insertion which often requires repeated blows with rubber mallet after doctoring both pipes to allow fit. There is little doubt in my mind that the tent will go together, but assembly is a time-consuming work out.
broke in wind. canvas to short for the poles sent
Bought this in October and by December it was destroyed with wind and it was installed next to my garage and was installed just like it said to. I was hoping it would last for years not months
