[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This max canope works so much better than the pop up ones that keep getting broken ribs with the wind especially at the base of Lake George.Ease of setuo and breakdown If you plan on keeping it up you need to put screws in the junctions
I already had one and RV next to me saw how well it stood up to weather and had me order one for her. I would love to have this in a 12 x 12.
I have purchased 2 of these , Holds up well for my 10x10 porch for several years. it's a shame that if something happens to the canopy like mine did during a tornado that you have to purchase a whole New Frame with it..The Frame held up Good , But you can't buy the Canopy alone ,,Well you can but it will cost the same as with the frame. Other than that we'll worth it..
This is my second canopy. The first provided shade for my patio. This one, for my deck. Both were easy to assemble, and are much more substantial than the normal pop up canopies. Also has the added advantage of being able to purchase replacement canvas. I did pop rivet the joints for added stability. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Went together easy, I ran nylon rope through the end pipes to hold it sturdy and to anchor threw my deck. I am using it as a weather guard so my dogs will go outside in bad weather.
The 10'x10' shelter is great but it would be better if you still offered replacement canopy instead of having to buy a whole new unit. I buy them for the local Humane Society for shade for volunteers and shelter dogs. Having to buy a whole new 10'x10' unit is expensive but I had no option. You no longer offer just a replacement canopy for the 10'x10'. Not sure what to do with my original frame?
i have been using the shelter for 2 weeks now and it works well. the only disappointment is that the leg pads are made of plastic and flex a good deal in the breeze allowing the entire structure to move.
An earlier version of the canopy served well as a shelter for our teardrop trailer for almost 2 years. I had to buy another whole canopy, frame and cover, after an unexpected snowfall tore the canopy cover while we were away. It would have been nice to be able to buy the cover separately, since the metal frame was still in fine shape. Now I have an extra frame that I'll just give away.
It's a great little shelter, but for my needs it either needs to be a little shorter or maybe make a half end for the front and back. The reason I say that is because where I have it set up. I placed it between my house and shop, so I could park my mobility scooter under it. Unfortunately the wind and rain blow from either the front or back. So that being said, a half end that goes from the peak of the top down to the top of the four legs. Other then that I think it was pretty easy to put up, and it's pretty sturdy if it's done right. I think the hardest thing was figuring out exactly which way the tri connectors go. One last item is don't try to put it up by yourself, it takes at least two people to do it!
Bought this about a month ago just opened up the box and the pipes look like they are starting to rust and the pipe connections were very lose.
