I do a lot of shredding mostly one piece at a time but there are sometimes I shred multiple pieces at once and this shredder so far does the job and at a great price to. It's a little messy emptying it but then I haven't owned a shredder yet that didn't make some kind of mess when you empty it.
So far so good, overheats after about 5 minutes, otherwise works as described. Just let it rest in between mass use.
In the past, I've always bought a 4-6 page shredder. This time I kicked it up to this 12 page shredder, and the extra power was obvious the second I started using it. Other shredders that handle a load like this are much higher priced. I'm very pleased I purchased the one and would highly recommend it.

Best type of shredding. The cross cutting makes the paper look like confetti!
Although it does the job, it is extremely noisy.
It jammed within the first 5 mins. I can't imagine putting 12 sheets of paper in a at a time because 5 sheets made it stain terribly. It overheats very quickly then will not turn off. If you continue to put paper in, it stops - the overheat light comes on - and you're waiting 45 mins to an hour for it to reset. Don't waste your money.
Very hard to empty without making a mess every time. Have a shop vac or vacuum cleaner handy every time you do. Buy one that you can lift the top off and lets you install a garbage bag in the basket...
