We were looking for a shredder for the home/home office. In this day and time, folks should be very careful about the items they are throwing away. This fits the need very nicely. It is easy to operate & maintain. It was a good value on price and functionality.
Outstanding shredder for the home office auto shut off, it is not loud. I'm so happy with the shredder I'm buying my daughters one for their home office
Easly handles more than one sheet at a time. Very Quite. Credit cards and CDs have a separate blade so plastic isn't in the way of the paper.
I like that it has a handle. It's a nice size for medium use.
Good for medium duty shredding. I like that it shreds single staples and credit cards. I don't think it shreds the paper pieces small enough, but is adequate. I seem to have to empty the basket often.
It doesn't shred very good. Not very strong. I bought the extended warranty but it only goes into effect after 1yr, mine broke & they say send it in for repair, no replacement or refund until after 12 months.,
First of all the capacity is not 6.1 Gallon but 4.76 Gallon. Secondly, the specifications say "Medium Duty", but the instructions says, "Intermittent use only. 2 minutes on and 30 minutes off." Which is EXTRA LIGHT DUTY!!! The Normally accepted Engineering defination of INTERMITTENT is greater than 50% duty cycle, but less that 80% duty cycle. 2 minutes on and 30 minutes off is 2/32 or 6.25% duty cycle. The description is completely misleading. I am returning this shredder on the same day I picked it up!!
