Love it! Easy to set up and the HD resolution is perfect. Had a few hiccups getting it to sync with company software to share screens but got that resolved and it works perfect. Makes my remote working so much easier! Telling all my co-workers about it. :)
I was looking for an additional monitor to do my school work. I am often switching between documents and articles. The SideTrak is perfect and portable. I was debating about getting a stand alone monitor but it wouldn't be as practical because I'm always on the go. It was delivered in a timely matter and it was easy to install. Some of my classmates are looking to get one as well. I love this thing!
I'm an on the go young professional in the tech industry who lives by the two monitor system. If you are like me, the sidetrak is the answer! This product has a sleek design, simple install, excellent 1920 x 1080 display and Low power consumption. It's great for anyone who is big on multitasking and video streaming. Looking forward to seeing its evolution.
I Telecommute 2 days a week from home and don't normally use the Slid Trak monitor those days but I work onsite out of hotel cubes and open workspace areas 3 days a week. I am using the heck out of the Slid Trak on those 3 days a week. All the work areas are set up differently, so instead of adapting to a new one each day, I can uncase my Slid Trak monitor and work with the same configuration all the time. The Protective case allows me to carry the monitor with me and not damage it while it is in my bag. It's working for me. Thank yall for a couple of great products. The Slid Trak monitor and the case.
I purchased to use with both my work and personal laptop. I love that I can swap between them without having to own 2 of them. It gives me the productivity I need no matter the location or need. Working late but can't stand sitting in your home office any more...move to the couch and coffee table and still have access to 2 monitors! Gaming and need to look something up...drag one to the other screen. I love it! Only thing I want now is a cover/sleeve to protect it and my work laptop to have a USB port on both sides :)
I love it . I use it daily remotely and it has really increased my ability to review sprradsheets while I post. So lightweight . My only wish is that the cord was just long enough to reach my laptop and the end of it once it is fully extended. The cord is too long and has slack that hangs.
I've installed it on both my windows and mac pc's and they work fine. But I had to upgrade from high sierra to catalina to get it to work neither of my selections for high sierra worked the first time and plus it took over 5 mins to connect, but other than that it's great...Thanks
SideTrak is definitely the product one needs for additional screen space on your laptop. For someone like me that is always working on the go it is essential. The screen itself works great, it does add weight to the laptop but its worth having it. Features like brightness would be nice to have if they can some how incorporate it in the future and perhaps a lighter frame. Nice product !
Having a fold out stand for support - similar to other models - is needed.
The portable monitor does not lock in place when fully extended. I believe the one I received might be defective. I am waiting for the seller to respond to my outreach for a solution to the current problem.
