This new Silk Cashew milk is great. We used it a replacement for other milk for our smoothies and baking. My husband used it in his coffee to enhance the flavor. The texture is rich and creamy and it's flavor profile is as well. We have enjoy Silk Almond milk for a long time and we were super excited when this new cashew milk came out. As cashew lovers, the idea of being able to add it to baked goods sounded great to us. We did enjoy the strawberry cupcake recipe as well. My children, my son, especially, loved the milk. The calorie content is low and there is more protein and no saturated fat. It feels good to serve to your family. GMO free, plant based goodness. I did try the the Unsweetened and chocolate varieties as well. I am not an unsweetened kinda gal, but the chocolate is totally worth buying. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Silk cashew milk is delicious. It has a much creamier texture than coconut milk without the antibiotics and hormones of cow's milk. Most of the time I used this in cereal or other simple dishes like that, however I did cook with it as well. I noticed that in cooking with Cashew milk there were times I needed to add or subtract the amount used just because the consistency isn't exactly like milk. This however is NOT a bad thing. The recipes tasted the same if not better than just using regular milk. Although when I cooked with it, I did use unsweetened for dinners... such as a ranch chicken, but with desserts I did use the vanilla and it did give it a much better flavor. I have made it a point to keep Silk Cashew milk in my refrigerator. My children can't even taste a difference! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Silk Cashew Milk is by far the best, smoothest and creamiest plant based milk I've tried. I love the texture; it's super smooth and not at all gritty like other plant based milks. It also has a fantastic, sweet cashew flavor. I was worried at first it would be overwhelming but to my surprise, it is not. Silk Cashew Milk is a great alternative to dairy, definitely top choice on my list! So glad I got to try it. Thank you BzzAgent!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
So good!! I won't go back to milk.....It's creamy and sweet.
I loved this milk. My husband concerted me to an almond milk drinker from cow milk several years ago. I had never thought to try cashew but it is my new favorite. I especially loved the vanilla in my fruit smoothies. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been using Silk products for a while so when I got the chance to try this new product I was excited. I had never heard of this particular flavor/type and was curious if it would be as good as the Almond Silk I normally get. So I went to the store hoping they carried this new product and happily for me they did. Now I usually get my Almond milk because I make a lot of fruit smoothies so I was hoping this product would be just as satisfying. Got out my blender, hope grown strawberries that I freeze, frozen blueberries, Cashewmilk, my vanilla yogurt, some ice and a bit of water. Added everything together and blended. Then sat outside to enjoy my afternoon treat. The results were every bit as good as the Almond milk. I honestly couldn't taste a big difference which is actually fine. Was very happy with the smoothie. Added a rich creamy texture that I love and it's loaded with the good stuff that is good for me. I was very happy and will definetely be buying this again. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely! It taste great and gives you the calcium that you need. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Our family usually uses almond milk for our morning smoothies. I purchased the vanilla flavor Silk Cashewmilk to replace the almond mile. We loved the end result. And plan on purchasing this product in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Enjoyed the chance to sample Silk Cashew Milk for free through bzzagent. I love the creamy texture for any recipes calling for half n half or cream that you have been waiting for a dairy free alternative for. We tried it in espresso coffee, shakes, creamy soups and to make pudding. It worked really well and the texture was good. I love the fact that it is cholesterol free and nonGMO. I, however, did not care for the taste on cereal. It needs to be mixed with something else for flavor in my opinion and that is the only reason I did not give it 5 out of 5. I will be buying it again and am happy to have a more creamy dairy free alternative at my fingertips. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was so excited to try out the Silk® Cashewmilk so much so I waited with baited breath to get the package so I can hightail it to the supermarket to get a carton of this nut milk. I was unfortunately underwhelmed with the milk - it has a weird aftertaste that I thought was just me or the cereal pairing but I made smoothies with it - replacing my usual coconut milk or almond milk with it and again the weird aftertaste. Lucklily my sister and my cousin who is a strict vegan loved it so while it did not go with my palate it worked well with my family's so it wasn't a complete loss. I was excited about a new flavor besides "Almond Milk" which I totally LOVE. But I am an Un-happy customer. It tasted like Pepto Bismol..too thick and very little Cashew taste to it. However, my daughter liked it on her cereal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
