The Simmons Beautyrest Gliding Bassinet is beautifully designed to fit in any décor. It includes pretty fabric pieces and piping, a baby mattress pad and matching side panels. The kit comes complete with an electronic mobile arm plus three spinning toys and a calming nightlight. The variable speed vibration allows for side-to-side electronic rocking motion and relaxing music. It took us about an hour to assemble. This sweet and safe bassinet handles babies up to 15 lb. and really complements our babies' nursery.
With our 1st son we used a cradle which was a hand me down. It was okay, but almost as big as a crib that I wished I had something smaller those first couple of months with the newborn. This is perfect for us. Our room is smaller and the size accommodates great! I love all the features and the bottom storage is a dream! The cradle didnt have storage which is greatly needed! For the price you wont find anything better and more perfect for your precious newborn!

I definitley reccomend this bassinet. The fact that it rocks on its own is wonderful and the material is not only very soft but durable. Price was good too
haven't set up mobile yet because I need to go out and buy batteries other than that I love this bassinet it's gorgeous(:

I hate to write a poor review on such a lovely product, but I am really disappointed in this bassinet. The assembly was easy. It only took about 20 mins to put everything together. The problem that we had with it, is that the frame would not lock into place. No matter how much we tried, it wasn't going to lock. So, the bassinet doesn't seem sturdy and I would not trust it. To me, everything is cheaply made on this. Sorry. The mobile is the nicest feature. The bears and umbrella spin. The noise while it is motion is a bit loud. It plays a musical chime that sounds like a piano. There is a volume button to lower the volume for the music. There is also a light option. Which displays mini lights. You can turn those off or on. The bottom board where the baby would lay on vibrates. In all honesty, I hope that things improve with this product. It's a really nice bassinet with some nice features.
