Great for my powder room *guest bathroom
We had an auto sensor lid garbage can, but our toddler played with the lid rendering it useless. We went with the traditional, non-battery operated Simple Human garbage can. It's a little pricey. It is engineered well, with the double lid opening and soft closure. The standard 13 gallon trash bags fit perfectly. So far, no fingerprints or other stains visible - we've had the can for about 3 weeks. I anticipate this can will last for decades.
We chose white. While the cost was a stretch for me, I now believe it was worth it! This can is quality made and has a streamline design. It holds a good amount and therefore doesn't need to be emptied too frequently. I LOVE that those using the bathroom don't have to see what's in the trash unless stepping on the lever to throw something away themselves. There's a convenient handle in the back for when you need to move it. I can't say enough good things. Now I have one in each bathroom!
I have a small space & make waste for one person, I wanted something that collected both waste & recycle,neatly & out of sight, and this did all that. I'm very pleased with my purchase & I love the custom bags too.
Just moved and needed an exposed kitchen trash can. This one is large enough to handle our weekly trash needs. We also have a smaller butterfly step can in the laundry room. These cans are modern with clean lines and easy access for trash. Just step and toss. I love that I don't need to see or smell trash as the butterfly lid takes care of both issues. Strongly recommend!

Love this dual trash compartment that is sleek and takes up little space. My only issue is it arrived with a small dent to the side. Me living on a 5th floor walk up I'm not even going to query the issue
Pro: My German Shepard can no longer dive to get paper towels and such out. It's a slim design with butterfly lid that has a low profile. I included a picture for reference of how the trash can looks against counter. Regular 13 gallon bags fit it, so no need to get the custom bags unless that's your preference (simple human provides a few custom bags to sample). Cons: My trash can came with peeling on the edges of the lid and the lids don't sit flush seems like one half sits a bit back than the other. A lot of fingerprints or more like streaks when touched in both the trash can surfaces if you push pedal barefoot it will leave toe outlines. For $160, the metal seems too thin, I've had my trash can for a week, so not sure how much denting will occur long-term. Overall I was too lazy to return for the cons and I have attached some pictures for reference.
The product came damaged on plastic parts. And the hustle of exchanging is really bothersome, you gotta go to post office to drop the huge box off. Should've ordered on amazon at least the UPS picks it up if you want to exchange it.
