I did a lot of research to find the right dish drain to fit next to my sink. The swivel drain spout and stainless steel finish were the two important features I was looking for. I have had really good luck with the Simplehuman brand and this product was no exception. It fits all my needs and even my husband commented on how much he likes it. We didn't put up the wine glass drying rack, but it is a nice feature and I was happy to see that it wasn't permanently attached. With the bonus that I found it cheapest at Walmart online made this an easy purchase.
We have a small kitchen, but we were tired of and frustrated by our aged compact drainer. We have very limited counter space so we were concerned that this standard-size one would be too big. However, we positioned it with the long end running front to back, and it fits fine. We both really love it. It hold so much more than the old one, and safely. The wine glass holder is brilliant. No more balancing and worrying. Ditto the sturdy outboard cup and glass holders—we even use them for our antique glassware. There is plenty of room for pots and pans and cutlery. It is easy to clean and we have had no floods underneath it. Beautifully made, high quality, gorgeous to look at. An elite dish rack, and worth every penny.
I was not sure about purchasing this, it's a little pricey. I do already have your hands free foam soap dispenser, great product. So I decided to get it and so glad I did I love it! I had been looking for a couple of years to find well. . . this dishrack. Thanks!
This is the most well thought out design for a dish rack I have ever seen. So functional and sturdy. And it looks stylish. Love the spot for wine glasses and the swiveling spout to channel water into your sink. Very happy with this purchase!
It's large! Took a while to get used to it in our small kitchen, but it does hold all the dishes & kitchenware we use. I wanted it since we don't have a dishwasher.
Wonderful dish rack!! My only criticism is that the cutlery drainer only attaches to the body in the center. This makes it necessary to balance cutlery, or it tips. I would suggest a design alteration by having two attachment points for the cutlery drainer. Otherwise, perfect!!
This dish rack is awesome. Very sturdy and beautifully designed. Definitely maintains that simple human quality. A most purchase for any sleek looking kitchen.
Very functional and looks good in the kitchen. We bought it to replace an older simplehuman dish drain. The older model had a wooden block that fit in the silverware tray ,with slats for knives . This model does not have that feature and I was a bit disappointed in that.
I bought this to replace my 2007 model. This new model is okay. It doesnt come with a knife block like the older model, and you cant buy one from simplehuman's website bc they dont even have a knife block for the newer model. Also, the bottom tray (by the drip piece) push under the trying rack like it did on the old model. But now i have to use that all the time bc its where i dry my knives since no knife block is included.
I like my new tray but when I put knives in their compartment, its off balance until I equally distribute them in the tray. Is this a design flaw or am I missing something? At the price of the tray it should function easier.
