Pictures don't do this item justice. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. Very simple to assemble, takes about an hour. Furniture is very sturdy and easily holds my weight at 300 lbs, sitting on the bench. The only complaint is that it took a long time to get here, shipping was very slow.
Here's our entryway bench (model # 3AXCADBEN-B) all assembled. It was a breeze to put together in about 30 minutes. They even included a bag with extra hardware. It was packaged perfectly no damage in transit.
The very best package job I have ever seen! Not a scratch, nothing broken, someone took a lot of time to figure that out. Now, that just the box, the color of the bench was a little dark, but the finish was very good. I wished I paid more attention to the height of the bench, a little shorter than I would have liked. Great for kids, so all in all it does the job and looks good doing it.
Very sturdy bench and all wood construction. Would recommend to my friends.
I didn't know what I would be getting with this storage bench. We weren't looking for anything extravagant, but just something that would hold roughly 200 pounds and had a place to throw in mittens in the winter. This ended up being very solid and much larger than what I had thought! I am very happy with this purchase. Nice place to store winter items and put your backside while putting on shoes.
excellent value but the small Phillips screws for the hinges are a bit of a joke and stripped easily. Fortunately, I had other small screws that I could use.
The bench was fairly difficult to put together, but once it was done it seemed more than sturdy enough for use. It was a bit smaller that what I anticipated, but fits well in my entryway. Pretty color and versatile design.
I was looking for a Small Solid Wood Bench that would fit in front of my Living Room/Lainai Window. Opened the Box - The Smell of Wood permeated the room immediately. Put the bench together by myself, but would recommend an assist. Only drawback, hence the the 4-Stars - I had to drop some wood glue into the Right Arm dowel holes as they came attached, but were easily separated. Also, I think the price is a little steep - But worth it to me. Over All - Love it!!!
We love the color of the wood, very nice looking.It was majorly difficult to. Put together! The directions state you need two people to put it together. It takes more like three strong individuals! The directions were also confusing, it took several hours to complete
You get what you pay for. The color is much darker than the picture and the hinge doesn't work. Would not recommend. Spend the extra money and get something much nicer.
