Just bought it, already better than all the rest. It's all natural sea water, no minimum uses but I only needed to use it once. Also it won't thin the walls in the lining of your nasal passages. I have the pump one I need 100 more just in case. Best product ever I have one at work where it's super nasty dry. This is amazing!
I've Been using this for the last few years. I prefer it over neti pots or saline bottles. It just gets into my sinuses much better, providing more pressure to drive the saline to my sinuses and through (unusually long) turbinates. Plus, it is the best when travelling--no mixing or carrying a breakable pot. Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own. This stuff was amazing! Cleared up my issues quickly and efficiently. It helps clear out my sinus and helps me breathe better at night. I'm definitely going to be buying more.
This is not the 0.9% (isotonic) version of Simply Saline. It is a stronger hypertonic mixture which contains a higher concentration of sodium chloride. Hence the stinging. They have changed their packaging which makes it more difficult to distinguish between the two strengths. They have also removed the wording on the labels that details the actual percentage of sodium chloride used within. I think this causes confusion to have two different products in such similar packaging. This hypertonic solution has a dark blue banner at the bottom of the can and says "Allergy & Sinus Relief". The one that doesn't sting, the isotonic 0.9% version has a light blue banner (was previously red) that says "Nasal Relief". I wish they would bring back the old packaging. It was much easier to distinguish between the two. Anyway, I couldn't get by without this product. The hypertonic mixture is the only thing I've found that keeps my sinuses healthy and me out of the doctor's office!
Been using this for 6 months or so. No medication have done for me what this have done. Sometimes I use in the morning and at night, an sometimes only at night. I have told every Doctor I have seen and they say great, but write nothing abut it. And I have an ENT and Allergies and they both understood it was helping but will not write anything about it on my report.
All kinds of problems, between allergies and bp meds, I suffer so bad, but I came across this and it really works, the only thing I couldnt find was how often to use, much better than my neti pots, I use baking soda in so much of my daily life. Thank you (especially for that constant drip I cant take antihistamines)
My family has allergy issues and have used various brands over the years and Simply Saline is one of our favorite brands for quality, ease of use, and sterilization. Walmart always has good prices compared to the big box stores and online competitors. Easy to buy and stock up on items with long expiration dates for items like this that everyone in the family uses and each can keep separate bottles in their own bathrooms for their own personal use as needed.
I love the can and the upright spray that is so effective. However, two or three months ago I bought this product and it was a less concentrated saline ratio. When I bought it last month it was 0.9 with just water and salt. Today I purchased your new formula which added Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda)and it burned my nose. Please go back to one of the former formulas that don't burn (omit the baking soda). I rely on your product because I don't want any of the other saline rinses that have other added chemicals. Thanks, thenoseknows
I preferred the original spray nozzle rather than the newer "mister," which seems to use some sort of propellant--I can smell and taste a chemical aftertaste which was not present in the original product. The earlier nozzle was also easier to get inside the nose. I wish that NOTHING had been changed about this product, which used to be a really safe, sterile and effective way to accomplish saline nasal irrigation, and easier to use than a neti pot.
I have been buying this product for years, and am dismayed that since the brand was purchased by Arm & Hammer, all versions now contain baking soda! I like the convenience of having the spray available, but unless the non-baking soda version returns, I will be mixing my own saline spray!
