Excellent purchase, easy to use for beginners, machine is quiet and great price. My first computerized sewing machine and I would highly recommend!
I am learning how to sew, I love the programmed stitches and ease of use of the machine! Definitely worth the cost.
With a solid alloy chassis, this is a good all around machine from light delicate projects to hemming jeans and quilting. With over 500 ready-to-go stitches and the ability to program your own custom stitches combined with the included tools makes nearly any project a reality. I'm learning how to sew and I can't imagine a better machine to explore the world of sewn project. This is a computerized machine as apposed to a mechanical machine, so thick heavy fabrics may require you to “hand walk” through some spots. This machine should handily tackle nearly every home project you choose. This is not a commercial sewing machine, choosing to reupholster your car/truck or boat interior or leather/Vinyl garments you might want to stick with a mechanical sewing machine like a Singer 4xxx series.
I love it's smooth stitch, power, and the added features that make it fun.
It doesn't sew through several layers no more than two layers of jeans material would be. Then the pedal just stopped communicating with the machine.
