Wonderful! So happy I got this! I've sewed for many years and this does everything I need and more. And it's beautiful!
The machine itself is just so pretty! It is easy to use and has worked well for my sewing needs so far.
My main machine is a top-end Viking, which is in the shop for maintenance (a backlog of 4wk). In the meantime, I needed a machine to continue working. This is a really good machine for the money, and a greyt machine for a beginner. It has a lot of decorative stitches and purrs like a kitten.
A+++++ LOVE it! It's not your typical light weight sewing machine! This has some concrete in it! It's heavy! I love the way it stays put on my sewing table w/o jumping all over the place b/c of the wt of it. Stitches are even as well! My only complaint is the light. Could be somewhat brighter. The stitches have always come out even w/my sewing! Easy to use/Simple and what a great price!
So far I love this machine I haven't had a chance to use any of the special stitching.
I love the look of this machine. Its so sleek, so retro. So gorgeous. Sews effortlessly, quietly, and is great. BUT. i hate that it doesnt have a needle up/down option. I chain sew alot in quilting and having the machine always stop in the up position then having to manually roll it down so the fabric doesnt shift is annoying.
Bobbin winder is terrible. The thread does not load evenly and tight. The thread falls off guide during spool loading. Self threading frays the thread. Tension Is not good when sewing jean fabric. My old Singer was so much better.
